"Travel":- Design Team Post for Lasting Memories challenge Blog

Morning all,

We have another perfect week with cold mornings and beautiful days, its  nearly Spring time and thoes cold mornings will disappear.

I am so excited as today will be my first layout as a Design Team member for "Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout  "Challenge blog. They have a weekly challenge based on a theme.

http://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.com

September theme is the "Wonders of the World"

With the first week criteria is to use layered Words and to use the word  "TRAVEL".

I decided to go with some holidays snaps taken at Uluru (Ayers Rock) back from 1984, when the family travelled to Alice Springs for an Apex convention and then spent a week sightseeing before travelling home.

I decided to go with a multi photo, block theme as i had six photos left to do , I have used one photo in my hidden journal page at the begin of row 2. (See photo below)

I hope you like it. Today i will provide which products I have used  as the cutting an assembly can be seen from the picture .

I have used a base of brown card stock as my first layer and then two more layers ( one a 4" square the second a 3.75" Square ) before adding photo's or emblishments.

No Limits.

 Morning all

Its Sunday morning, getting closer to the end of the month and Spring will be here in Australia.

We had a shower of rain overnight which has made the grass looking not so dry. We did not have the lawn mower man this month as there was no need to cut the grass as insufficient moisture this month to make it grow.

Today  I am sharing a layout that i will enter into the CSI  SCRAPBOOK CHALLENGE  Case 327on facebook but details can be found on the blog as well.

http://csichallenge.blogspot.com

With this challenge i took my inspiration from the red's,  greens and the light coloured kraft card. Since the photo was on travel, i used the map, camera, sunnies and the clock's.

I hope you like my interpretation.

Maureen W (AUST) Card Sketch 381

 Morning all,

Such a beautiful Winter's day tops of 26 Degrees.

As usually I forgot to post this page early in the week . This weeks has been so busy. Normally we  have our Royal Show this week and a public holiday on  the Wednesday .

This year due to COVID19, alas no show but still a Public Holiday,  but they changed it till Friday so the workers could have a long weekend, so all our medical appointments where brought forward  hence a busy week.

Today , I participated in Atlantic Hearts card Challenge, this sketch weekly Card challenge.

 http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.com/

Today I have used a piece of Kraft Card Stock to create a 7" x 5" card and Uniquely Creative "True North" Collection. With the first layer i cut up the
piece that comes in the packet to show you the designs.

I do hope you like it.

Sketch 379 Maureen W (AUST)

Morning all

Cannot beleive its the 1st of August already, where has the year disappeared.
Received good news at the Specialist on Wednesday that my X ray shows the knee replacement has worked well and i have full movement. The only problem is that my blood test shows that I still have an infection in the leg, which is proving to be a hassle, as the swelling can get very painful and makes me unable to put my feet on the ground.

Here is South East Queensland we had our first reports of community transmission of Covid 19 . There where two girls who visited Victoria which has over 400 cases a day being reported (since early July)but gave false information to come back into the state as any one who has been to Victoria or New South Wales is suppose to go in to Hotel quantinee for 14 days at their own expensence to stop the spread of Covid 19 .
As they spent 8 days in the comunity before being tested postive. We will be self isolating for a while so it lessens our chances of catching it.

Now after my winge the card today is for Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge
