Perfect

Good Afternoon all,
Today's post is the June Challenge for "Off the Rails  Scrapbooking Blog spot" A mood Board





My Interpretation  of this mood Board:






PRODUCTS USED:
Kaisercraft Island Escape Collection , Two Sheets of Makai, one sheet of Bird of Paradise , sticker sheet, Flourishes and Collectables. Kaisercraft "Coastal Escape" Collection - Palms .
Cadence Relief Paste in Gold,  Uniquely Creative Sand Stencil, Kaszazz Alcohol markers in Butter and Melon. Kaisercraft Fusion Pen BR07. White canvas and Kaisercraft String in Brown
Starlight "Black Metallic Paint.
Photo 5.25" x 3.25"

CUTTING and STENCILING:

Cut Salvage  of "Palms"
Cut  Salvage off "Makai" then cut 3.5" x 10 off the bottom.
The cut a middle piece 3.5" x 10"  with the ocean
Photo mat  4.25" x 6.25" from "Bird Paradise"
Using "Gold" relief paste and Sand Stencil. I stencil 3" x 10" across the piece starting at 0.25" from the bottom of "Makai".
Fussy cut around the Hibiscus and the Palm tree of the reverse of  "Makai".
Painted the wooden flourish with a mixture of alcohol pens and black metallic paint


ASSEMBLY:

Joined the two pieces of "Makai". to form a 10" x 8.75" .
Added this to  "Palms 1.50" from the top and 1" from left hand side
Added the fussy cut Hibiscus and Palm tree of the reverse of  "Makai" to the left hand side of "Palm"
and at the bottom of the piece of   "Makai" .
Added piece of canvas under the "Bird of Paradise" photo mat then added photo to mat, using foam dots. Allowing the Palm leaves to overlap Photo, place at the bottom Of "Makai" and 3" from Left hand side
Use the sea shells from sticker sheet to cover join at the right of Photo frame.
Then ran the remaining stickers 1" from bottom of "Makai"and to the right of the photo mat  these are hidden by the wooden fence.
Added title to the left hand corner of the "Makai" at an angle
Added the Collectables and remaining wooden flourishes  as per photo of layout.

Oh the places you"ll go

Morning all

The challenge for the Kraft Community  Blog  for June was create a layout using a Dr Seuss quote. 
I contemplate this one for quite some time this month before selecting a few quotes.i decide on this quote "Oh the places you"ll go" as quite adept for the photo i chose of  my grand daughter taken at her Year 6 graduation.






PRODUCTS USED

Kraft card stock, Card stock in White, Red, Yellow and Blue.
Alphabet dyes in Upper and lower case
Arrow Dyes by Uniquely Creative
Brick Stencil  by Kaisercraft with Red Ink
Kaisercraft Embossing Folders in dots, crosses and Stars
Images of scrolls and Dr Seuss printed from Google
4" x 4" photo
Label machine for name and date

CUTTING, STAMPING AND EMBOSSING:

Cut 2 x 4.5" x 4.5" squares from yellow, red white and Blue
Embossed  one square each of Red Blue white and yellow using the embossing folders  ( yellow and white The Dot  folder was used)
Dye Cut 8 arrows using various colours
Dye cut the letters from both upper and lower case using Red , Yellow and white.
Printed the Dr Seuss verse on the tow scrolls 

Cut images of the "Cat in the Hat"
Using the Red ink and Brick stencil  Staring at 4.5" from right hand side stenciled through middle of page  Continue left and right  for 5"on left hand side and  3" down.

ASSEMBLY:

Placed first yellow embossed square at an angle 1" from the top  and 6" from left hand side
Angled each square as per layout leaving a 0.25" gap, running a plain one and  then an embossed square. Leaving a blue square to use as a photo mat.
Added photo to mat
Attached to layers of card stock using foam tape 4.75" from the top and 3" from left hand side.
Tucked the scroll  with the verse on at an angle under photo mat
The small scroll was tucked under the bottom of photo mat 3.75" from the left hand side and 2.75 from the bottom ( only the last two verse show under the photo mat.
Added name and date  to the bottom of scroll
Angle title using a mixture of upper and lower case letters as per layout
Scatted cut images of "Cat in the Hat' around layout
Added arrows as per layout

It's the little things in life

Morning
The second challenge for Mystical Scrapbooks is:Gypsy's Challenge- My challenge for this month is to use one or more gatherings of flowers on your page. 
for my gathering of flowers i have used fussy cut flowers and Mini Paper Blooms.









PRODUCTS:

Kaisercraft Wandering Ivy Collection- Archives Reverse, Ivy wall , Cobalt, and  Blue Fields, Sticker sheet, Collectables, Wooden Flourish.  "Iceberg" Mini paper Blooms, 1 x 8" doily, 1 x 4" doily, Kaisercraft "Gum Leaf" Ink and a   6" x 4" photo


CUTTING:

Cut 1" 10' square from  Middle of "archives"
Using this 10" squares cut 6" circle
Fussy cut flowers from "Blue Fields"
Cut "Ivy" Wall reverse to 11.5" x 11.5".
Remove salvage from "Cobalt and then cut down the middle for a 6" x 12" piece.

ASSEMBLY:

Add "Ivy Wall reverse to "Archives" leaving a 0.25" GAP
Add 8" Doily to circle the Cut in Half
Add one half to the top 1.5" from the top and 1" from left hand side. the second half  1.5 from the bottom right hand side and 1" from the right hand side.
Add the 6" x 12" of "Cobalt"  3" from right hand side running it through the middle of the circles.
Add photo to photo mat.Add mat to page 2" from the top and 3" from the right hand side.

Add the ivy leaves from the sticker sheet to the left hand side of photo mat
Add the doilies strip from the sticker sheet to the right hand side and the bottom of photo map.
Place small doily in the bottom left hand corner of the photo. 
Add the fussy cut Flowers to the top of doily add collectables and wooden flourish which have been stamped with "Gum Leaf" ink
To the right hand side added part of the flower from sticker sheet then layered fussy cut flowers and mini paper blooms.as per photo
 Added title to the bottom of page 2" from the bottom and 1.75" from right hand side.

Today's layout is for the first sketch for Let's get sketchy blog spot. A bit behind this month, It not that the inspiration has not been there but the time is lacking this week and the weather  not been terrible good for photo takingThis is the sketch:

CUTTING:

Cut "Prep" 10.50" x 2.25"
Cut "Knead" reverse 3.25 x 4"
Cut  "Stir" 3" x 6"
Dye cut three starts.
Cut 2 photo mats 3.50" x 3.25"
Cut 4 Green 6" circles
and 2 orange 5" circles 


ASSEMBLY:

Added "Prep" to "Bake" 4.5" from the top and 1.50" from left hand side. Added the circles so they intertwined 2.50" from the top. Added "Knead" reverse 2.75" from left hand side over the "Prep" . Added Stir 4.25"from left hand side over the circles.
Added photo to frames placing the first one 1.5" from the right and 3.75 from the top
Second  photo mat 5.50" from the top and 5" from right hand side

Added title to just above "Stir"
Add the three stars and the pearl drops as per photo

A Perfect Moment

Morning all,

Today's post is for  Mystical Scrapbooks Blog Challenge, Their first challenge is a a sketch 
Have fun with this sketch and add some lace... (or ribbon if you really can't do lace!)

My interpretation of the Sketch:







PRODUCTS USED:

Fab scraps paper , Sky Above Me and Earth Below  Me

3 x Lace leaves and butterfly in White
White Lace flower
1 " wide Apricot Lace I used 24 " of lace
and material lace @  0.50".  I used  22" 
.50" of Apricot satin ribbon .  I used  18"
Gems
Sticker sheet from Kaisercraft "P. S.  I love you" collection
Clear Gems 
Flowers from my stash in white and apricot
Apricot Card stock
White cotton and sewing needle


CUTTING:


Cut "Earth Below me" 10" x 10" x 14.5" to form triangle,  (Basically cut the sheet in half at an angle)

Cut  Material lace into 2 x 7"and  2 X 5" for photo frame
cut  1 " wide Apricot Lace  at 13" and 1 x 11"
Cut 50" of Apricot satin ribbon at 18"
Cut 2  flags @ 1.75"
Cut one flag @ .75"
Cut 6.50" x 4.50 photo mat from Apricot card stock

ASSEMBLY:


Added "Earth Below  Me" to "Sky Above Me"  2" from the top and 2" from right  at bottom of page

Ran apricot ribbon along join line
Cut the flower sticker from "PS I Love you" sticker sheet in half and added to top of Ribbon
Added 1" lace across the page 6.25" from the top.
Made a lace flower from the remainder of the lace by gathering with white cotton  and added a gem stone to centre.
Added   Material Lace around Apricot card mat
Added photo to Mat
Added mat to page 3" from left hand side and 2.50" from the top
Placed the first flag .75" from the left hand side, centred second flag in middle and the smaller flag centred over the tow large flags
Added white butterfly so that its antenna sit on corner of photo frame added apricot and white flower over the flags.
To the Bottom left  hand corner of the photo frame, added three White Leaves  then a white lace flower and then the gather lace flower
Scratched Gems throughout the flowers 
Added wording from the sticker sheet as per photo

I chose to do  Sticker, Title (Yesterdays Stories are Today's Greatest Treasures), template and Printed papers only. With a photo of my sisters and me on the first day of a new  school year. in 1959.

My Interpretation of the Board

CUTTING:
:
Plumology  cut to and 11" x 11"
Apothecary . (reverse) 12" x 6"

Herbs, 9.25" x 4"  cut into a flag  @ 2"
Botanist, 9.50" x 4.25" cut into a flag @1.75"

ASSEMBLY:

Using the avocado ink , texture paste and butterfly template , added butterflies to the Apothecary . (reverse) for 5" on the right hand side
Added  Plumology  cut to and 11" x 11" to Apothecary  
Added Apothecary . (reverse) 12" x 6" 3"" from the top of  Apothecary
Added Ornithology, to  Apothecary . (reverse)  on left hand side
Using the flag cut from Botanist  layered the second flag cut from Herbs, over the top
The layered  both flags  1.5" from left hand side and .50" from top.
Added photo to photo mat used foam dots placed photo.3.5" from the left and 3.25" from the top.
Tucked  cut Doily  underneath the top left hand side of photo mat at the top
Added Herbs (reverse) 0.25 from photo mat  and  0.50" from right had side
Coloured a couple of the butterflies using Kaisercraft fusion pen  Y 13
Added title to right hand side
Added  birds, butterflies, flowers, clock, compass, Apothecary boxes  and feathers from the sticker sheet as per layout photo

The second layout page is for Sketchy Boards face book page

The challenge was a sketch . I love this sketch and my interpretation of it was true to the sketch.









PRODUCTS USED:
Kaisercraft Wandering Ivy Paper collection - Panelling, Cobalt (reverse), Province, Blessing (Reverse), Plaster Rose, Archives and sticker sheet. Three doilies, Kaisercraft script stamp with black and Avocado ink.Wooden flourish pack.  A Mothers Art, butterflies. Gems in crystal and black, Merci Ornate oval frame. Wandering Ivy Collectables.

CUTTING:


Cobalt  (reverse) cut to 5.50" x 2'

Province cut to  6.50" x 2"
Blessing  cut to 7' x 2"
Archives cut 4 @ 1" x 2" and cutting each into a flag shape
Plaster Rose cut 2" x 1"

ASSEMBLY:


Using "Panelling" as the base., i stamped the script stamp 3" from the left hand side and .3.5" from the top

Lay Blessing down 1.7 from the top and 5.25 from left hand side
I overlay "Province" 4.5" from left hand side and 2.75 from the tip  
Overlay "Cobalt" 4.25": from the right and 3.5 from top
Placed oval frame 3.50" from the top 4.25 from right hand side using foam tape added doily underneath  frame  
Cut one doily in half and place at the top of page 1.50" from the left hand side
The remainder cut piece of the doily was placed at the bottom 7.75" from the left hand side
Added "Plaster Rose"2.5" from left hand side and 5.5" from top, tucked it under the photo fame and added one of the flags cut from "Archives"
Inked the wooden flourish leaves in "Avocado" ink
Placing  the flags cut from "Archive" one at bottom of photo fame and the other two in the middle of the doily at top and bottom
Add Collectables  and butterfly's as per photo
Added crystal and black gem to centre of flowers
Added date to bottom  right hand side
Added title 7" from top and 1.5" from Left hand side

Haven't posted in a while, have been really slack, today is about catching up on my posts with the layouts i have completed.

The first one is for Anna's craft Cupboard Face book page challenge which was a sketch challenge.















PRODUCTS USED:

Kaisercraft Misty Mountain- "Marbled", Kaisercraft Secret Garden Collection - "Overgrown" and "Forgot me not", Sticker sheet , Kaisercraft  6" x 6" "Scratchy" Template, Versa mark Ink - "Cinnamon", Kaisercraft "Dusty Pink" Paint, Mothers Art Butterflies and Little Bird-handcrafted butterflies in Pink Martha Stewart's Boarder Punch.  6" x 4" photo

CUTTING:

Photo mat from Kaisercraft "Overgrown"- 6.25' x 4.25"
Cut 10" x 1" of "Forgot me not" and Boarder Punched it.


ASSEMBLY:

Using the "Marble" paper  I Added  Dusty pink Paint to the "Scratchy"  template. Starting at the top and  3" in from Left hand side,Continued this down through the middle, once dried add touches of Versa Mark "Cinnamon" ink with a paint brush to fill in parts of the painted surface.
The added grey sticker 4.50" from the  left hand side and 2.5 " from the top which i had cut to 7.50".
then beside this to the right I place the blue flower sticker strip which was cut to 8.75" placed it  1.75" from the top. I then added the Boarder punched flower piece to the right of this and 1" from the top .
Added Photo to mat 2.5" from the left hand side and 4" from the top.
Added wording just to the right of the bottom of the photo.
Added butterflies as shown on the layout

Getaway

Afternoon all.

Today's layout is for Scrapbook it blog spot. Its a sketch layout (see below) with the added criteria of: use two or more of the following: Washi tape, Water colour, Stencils or Stamps

PRODUCTS USED:

Kaisercraft " Chase the Rainbow"  in Shade . Kaisercraft, Just Landed collection sticker sheet  White card stock and blue card stock , Water colours in blue . Stamps by  Uniquely Creative, "Tiny Houses" and camera.  Wooden flourish , fob watch and world global and heart  (these where in my stash so not sure who manufactured them), Versa ink in Blue , Black ink from Uniquely Creative,
Red  and Vintage Ink from Kaisercraft. Star Stencil. Nuvo mousse in blue. Washi tape Yellow spots, green squares and red and white spots Kaisercraft chain stencil.  Kaisercraft Day  Dreamer collection "Yolo"
Kaisercraft "Just Landed" collection - Passport. Orbital Metal Dye by Uniquely Creative. Star Stencil


CUTTING:

Cut 9 x 2" circles from Kaisercraft Day  Dreamer collection "Yolo"
Cur 3 x 2" squares from Blue card stock
Cut piece of White card stock 9' x 7" and added blue water colour paint to the second piece and placed over the top of the 9" x 7" to give the required effect
Cut a 2" square from Kaisercraft "Just Landed" collection - Passport which shows  "Date, Location, and Memories.
Cut three Washi tape flags one from each colour

STENCILLING, EMBOSSING, WATER COLOURING AND  STAMPING:

Stencilled   two of the squares with Star stencil and Nuvo Mousse.

Stamped two red "Tiny House" on a 2" square
Stamped a Black camera over one of the Star stencilled 2" squares
Ran another square through a chain Embossing folder and added fob watch, which i had coloured with Vintage ink
Added planes and wording from Kaisercraft, Just Landed collection sticker sheet
Added Heart wooden flourish to Just Landed" collection - Passport which shows  "Date, Location, and Memories.
Added sticker from Kaisercraft, Just Landed collection sticker sheet to a 2" square of blue card stock.
Cut one small Orbital Dye and added to second stencilled star square.
Added a drop of water to the Blue Ink and splattered the background page "Shade"


ASSEMBLY:

Added Water  coloured  white card stock sheet to background sheet "Shade", 1.5" from the left and 2.5" from the top.
Added the nine pre cut 2" squares to  white card stock with .25" spacing all the way around

Morning all

Today's page is all about showcasing "GLITTER'. Its challenge  No:13 for the Happy Hour Crafter which support Beyond Blue.

It probably won't be the perfect photo, as i have used sparkle butterflies and glitter paper and glitter on the flowers.






PRODUCTS USED:

 Close to my Heart: "Sugar Pop Range". in  cream, sprinkles and grey diamonds.
Kaisercraft Glitter Paper in Silver, Blush, Lime green and white.
Gold Brad. Nuvo Crystal drops in "Honey Gold" Butterflies from my stash.
Cut Wording, Leaves, Circles under flowers, Small Flag Dye and Hearts  using Kaisercraft Dyes
Pink Flower is from "Bella" flowers, Yellow one from stash. Purple striped Washi tape. A 6' x 4" photo.
 Dynamo  Label maker for journal.


CUTTING:

Cut "Blush Glitter paper  6.5"
Cut  grey diamonds 3" x 12"
Cut Cream paper to 3" x 10"
Cut Photo Mat from Silver glitter paper 4.25" x 6.25'
Cut the word "Love", Heart and the Title "Yum" from Blush glitter paper
Cut Leaves from Lime Green glitter paper
Cut 3 Hearts  and flag from White Glitter paper and one from "Blush" glitter paper
Cut 2 x 1.5" circles one from Silver glitter paper the other from the Lime Green Glitter Paper.


ASSEMBLY:

Used "Sprinkle" as my base. . Added "Blush" glitter paper 3" from the top.
Added Washi Tape to join line
Added "Grey Diamond " paper 4.5" from the top
Added  "Cream " paper 1" from top and 1.25' from right hand side
Added photo to silver mat, added to page 2.5" from the top and 1" from right hand side
Added title "YUM" above photo
Added the word "LOVE" replacing the "O" with a love heart 2" from right hand side and 5.75' from top of page. 
Using wording " You did not wake up today to be mediocre" from the embellishment pack of  "Sugar Pop Range". Centre in on the Diamond grey patterned paper above the word "Love"
Added circles cut from the Lime green and silver glitter paper  to the top left and bottom left of cream paper.
Added pink flower to the top left of Cream paper using a Brad and yellow flower to the bottom left of the Cream paper adding three leaves cut from  the lime green glitter paper.
Add the Nuvo drops to the flower leaves.
Added Hearts as per photo placement.
Add butterflies as per photo placement.
Added wording just below photo using a Dynamo  Label maker

Dare to Dream Big



Morning All

The second post for the Month Is for  "White with One" Blog Challenge. Use The colour call "Space Frontier" I have taken it as a dark navy, and white.

PRODUCTS  USED:


Kaisercraft Star Gazer collection " Constellation, Milky Way reverse, Galaxy, and Galaxy Reverse Milky Way reverse  speciality Acetate -Galactic" and the Sticker sheet. Star Stencil, Textured paste with Kaisercraft white paint. Navy ink and pearls, and White card stock. Printed title using navy ink.  3 x 3" x 5.5" photos


CUTTING:

Cut "Galaxy"  3" x 12"
Cut " Constellation" 3' x 12"
Cut  "Milky Way reverse" 3" x  6"
Cut   the Mother Theresa saying out from  "Galaxy Reverse"
Cut Circle from Acetate - "Galactic"

 ASSEMBLY:

Added the Galaxy" to the white card stock 0.5' from the the top. Using the "Star stencil , white paint and Textured Paste"  Stencilled white stars across the top of the white card stock  and the "Galaxy" paper.
Added photos just below this two on the right then the piece of  "Milky Way reverse" then the last photo.
Added the dots from the sticker sheet on the join of the photos and  "Galaxy".
At the bottom of the  "Milky Way asses row of Dashes from the sticker sheet
Added saying of  Mother Theresa  from the "Galaxy Reverse" to the pieces of "Galaxy".1.75" from the top of "Galaxy". paper..
Added title and  1.5" from left hand side and 1" from the bottom.
Added the circle cut from the acetate  underneath the photo on the right hand side
Place navy dots throughout the page using a cotton bud.
Added some navy pearls to the beginning and end of title and above and below the Mother Theresa saying
