DT Lasting Memories No 517 ( Our Autum Baby )

Image
Hello everyone I for one  cannot beleive its a new month, here in Australia we entering into Spring, with our lovely warm days, whilst our  counter parts in  the Northern Hemisphere are now in Autumn.Hence this month's   challenge over at "Lasting Memories" is "Hello Fall"http://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.comThe first challenge is "Turning Leaves" and to create a layout with mainly Brown, Orange  Red and Yellow I  chose to use some  really old papers from a magazine which cease trading several years ago. I haven't used it as i don't seem to get many Autumn photos, as where i live in Australia, Autumn is a when the weather starts to cool down  to the mid 20s  and we can turn off the air-conditioning as most nights its comfortable to sleep without it.I went with the colour tones and a great grandson who was born in that season.

Morning allAfter yesterday's heat, 30 degrees  the wind came up about 4. p.m. and blew like a gail for about  6 hours, it was quite scary. This morning it is much cooler with the wind blowing not as heavy like last  night but definetly a change from 30 degrees. I started to cut this layout last  night.  I will enter it into Scrap it with Attitude facebook group. This month its a sketch plus a mood board. It was great i won last month with a card i entered. Received a great prize of 3 sets of Stamps (they where Stamps of the month) by  Close to my Heart.

Morning allI just looked at the clock and realised the time, I should be making some morning tea to keep my sugar in check, but this morning has passed me by . I got up at the usual time, so not sure where the time has gone maybe it took longer to finish the layout then i expected Its already 24 degrees so going to be a warm day, we had a little rain overnight which is great The layout is to enter in to this month's challenge for Kraft+.http://kraftpluschallenges.blogspot.comThis month it was all about using geometric shapes  the mood board had blues and oranges in it, so have incorporated these  colours.i have used Hexagons as my major shape  but it also has Triangles, and rectangles.I do hope you like it

Mornig allIt's  a glorious day, partly  cloudy , we had some rain overnight which put some water in our tanks, but the rain did not last long enough. Hopefully we get some more. Its School holidays here in Queensland so should receive a little bit more as it always rains during school holidays. This morning I created this simple layout for the third cyber crop  challenge which is to add Dry Brush Ink onto your page. I have used my favourite stencil and also created a feather stencil  by dye cutting a small feather and using the dye cut as a stencil.  It wasn't as hard as i thought it would be.I hope you like ithttps://mysticalscrapbooks.blogspot.com

PARADISE

Afternoon all,I was trying to finish this layout before i went to the chiropractor at 11 this morning, as i had it all cut out and only need to do the flowers, i had stamped them last night. I ran out of time. By the time i experimented with colours and watercoloured the flowers and the butterfly ( i could not find a bird stamp)  it was time to go. After i finnished at the chiropractor and brought some fresh fruit and vegetables and came home it was lunch time.I finished it  after having something to eat, but could not find the orginal photo i was going to use , so i have used one of myself which i rarely do.The layout is the second Challenge for the cyber crop using Paint or Ink for Mystical Scrapbooks https://mysticalscrapbooks.blogspot.comThe criteria was to stamp an image and then colour it.I have stamped and watercoloured the  flowers and also the butterfly i hope you like it.MY LAYOUT
