Birthday

Good Morning All

National Scrapping Day is 5th May

Scrapping Good Times  Face book Group is getting in early and has set a  block challenge.
This challenge you can select one row so you can go across, up, down or on an angle just as long as you have three of the items in any row on your layout!

I have chose the top row: BUTTONS, 3 PAPERS AND CIRCLES. 





PRODUCTS USED:

I  have used a very old Kaisercraft Papers:"Pink  Gelato" in Honey Dew, Blueberry and Vanilla
Lots of Buttons from my tin
Thread in pink ,green, blue , white and silver.
 1" Circle Punch 
Circle Doily Punch by Kaisercraft
Inks : Brilliant Pearleance in Lavender  and Versa Mark in Narcissus.
White card stock

CUTTING THE PIECES:

Cut   12 x 1" circles.
5 x  Doilies then cut 4 in half, leaving one intact.
Photo Mats:cut Honey Dew: 16.5cm x 13.5 cm
Vanilla: 10cm x 13cm and Blueberry 16.5cm x 13.5cm
 The base sheets : "Vanilla" sheet cut at 20cm x 12cm.
The "Honey Dew" i have ripped at an angle 3cm in from the top left hand corner to the bottom right.
"Blueberry" sheet , again torn to a 8cm x 22cm triangle to form bottom pieces.


PUTTING IT TOGETHER:

Inked the edges of each piece.
Added Vanilla to a piece of white card stock. 
Add piece of "Honey Dew" to left hand side
Add piece of "Blueberry" to the right hand side over crossing the "Honey Dew" piece refer to page.

Added buttons to each of circles using thread, then add the circles on lower end of the layout using foam tape

Added stagger Photo Mats using foam dots, 5.5 cm from the top  and 6.5 cm from left hand side. Adding photo using double sided tape, 5cm from the top photo mat  7.5cm from the left hand side.

added the cut doilies to around the first photo mat with glue.
With the last doily I left the circle Intact , added name and date an place on the top right hand corner.

Add wording from salvage of "Vanilla" 
Added further buttons to the torn edges.
