Good Morning

On this wet Wednesday morning, Its been raining all night,  totally feed up with this continually wet weather , we have exceed our May average already. would love to get outside and pull all those weeds it will be a really chore when it stops. Not looking forward to it. According to the weather man it is suppose to rain heavier tomorrow.

Yesterday I did a challenge layout for  Rochelle Spears and her scrappy friends blog Scrap with Stacy

At present I am trying to use up my very old papers  so I have combine a few bits  and pieces from different collection which I feel work well together . I have used Metal, Banner and Wood for the Tic Tac Toe Board

CUTTING:

Cut "Mae" 6" x 12"

Cut Photo Frame 4" x 6" from "Clutter"

Dye Cut two 4.25" Banners from "Trash"

Paint the wooden Title using "Ivy Green"

Paint the wooden Butterflies using Dark Chocolate

Paint the Corner wooden flourish using "Dark Chocolate"

ASSEMBLY:

Using the Red cardstock as base 

Add "Clutter" to the left hand side

Add the dye cut banners 3.50" from the top and 1" from left hand side

Second Dye cut Banner is 3.50" from the top and 1" from the right hand side

Add Photo to frame leaving Butterfly exposure 

Add Frame to page 3" from the top and 4' from the left hand side

Add Wooden flourish's, words and flower as per photo

 Morning all

Its so quite,  its Easter School Holidays,  no noise from the school, no traffic feels like the weekend.

It's very cloudy today, they are again predicting a deluge of rain, I hope not.

I was going to do this layout yesterday,  but hubby decided he watch, TV and so I sat with him to watch the movie as well.

I had spent the morning sorting  old photos and came across these. They are of my youngest two . Our youngest daughter enrolment into Guides and our Sons first time at his new Scout troop.

Oh the memories these photos bring back, how young they both look 1988, seems a distant memory. 

I have had a play with Rochelle Spears sketch and incorporated  Scrap with Stacy, " Tic Tack Toe "challenge  as well

With the Tic Tack Toe board,  it could be the right side down. Dye Cuts, Ephemera and Stickers or the left side down Tag, Stripes or Hearts.

Add tag 1.75 " from the top and 2" from the left 

Add "Enjoy Every Day " 0.75 " from the left and 4.75 " from the top

Add the "Star Dust " dye cut 1" From the right hand side and 0.50 " from the top 

Add second dye cut 2" from the top and 1.75 " from the left hand side 

Add The salvage at bottom of Banner 

Add photos 2.25 " from the left and 2.50 " from the top  

Add second photo beside first one

Add Creative Cuts, Stickers wooden Heart as per photo

Add String to title

Its a beautiful clear blue sky this morning. I was going to write this up yesterday afternoon, but was interrupted.  

I have completed my Morning chores, so before I start on something new. I will do this.

The layout I completed yesterday is for the challenge over at Rochelle Spears blog. It is a sketch and I am also entering it into her sister blog Scrapping with Stacy which is a tic tack toe board ( which I won last month)    

I'm using the top row of the board. Which is Metal (my butterflies) 2 photos and Doily

3: Cut 2 sets of foot prints   .50" x 7" and  0.50" x 7.50 "

4: Cut scalloped edge 0.75 " x 8.50"

5: Fussy cut 2 items from fussy cut page

ASSEMBLY:

Use cream Cardstock as base 

Add No: 1  4" from the left and hard against top

Add 7.50" strip of foot prints to top of No:3

Add the scalloped piece to bottom of No: 3

Add the 7" piece if footprints to the top of scalloped piece

Add the doily 6" from the top and 4.50" from left hand side 

Add to page 2.25" from the top and 1.75 " from the left 

Add the photos 2" from the left and 3" from the top 

Add Doilies as per photo to fussy cut pieces 

Add to page as pictured 

Add metal Trinkets as per photo

Woken to clear blue skies after another big thunderstorm last night. At 6 o'clock it was 21 degrees Celsius and expected tops of 35 degrees Celsius,  so another warm day with thunderstorms this evening.  Hopefully no hail to night.

Today I am sharing a page i completed during the week. 

Its for a challenge and another for our granddaughter holiday early in the year

Add 6" circle from "Dino" to Orange Circle 

Add to page 1.75: from the top and 1.50 " from the left hand side 

Add smaller photo 0.75" from the top and 3" from the left hand side 

Add second photo 4.25  " from the top and 3" from the left hand side 

Add the 6 banners from Cut Apart sheet to string 

Add to page 3" from the left and 4.25" from the top  (see photo) 

Add the half cut circle at bottom of " Hero " 8" from left hand side 

Add tag 8.50 " from the left and to the top of "Hero "

Add Sticker title 7 " from the left hand side and 8.25 " from the top 

Add other stickers and twine as per photo

Add 4.50" X 12 " of Fresh Folk to the top of the Oatmeal card stock

Add the Orange Doily 3.50" from the top and 2" from right hand side

Add the tag 3.50" From right hand side and 6" from the top

Add string to tag

Add the "All that Flowers" circle 3.50" from the top and 3" from the right  hand side

Add Photo hard against top and 2.75" from the right hand side

Add smaller 1.75" circle 2.50" from the top and 4" from left hand side

Add embellishment below small circle

Add a mixture of words enamel dots and wooden laser cuts as per photo
