 Afternoon everyone

We have a perfect Spring Day, here today. I washed the blankets from the beds this morning as the day was so nice, they blowing in the breeze

This morning I have made a few cards I thought i would do Case this Sketch, as i missed putting one in last week.

 Morning All,

 

I completed another card sketch today (It’s the weekend and very quiet and peaceful expect for the Crows squawking since day break.

 

The winter has been fine but quite dry with lovely sunny days and cold nights.

The second card I completed was for CAS(E) THIS SKETCH.

Guest Designer Week 1 : You are the Best

Morning all

Its been quite some time since I posted, early May i had a knee replacement , things were going along smoothly, but in week 3,  I  developed  an infection in my leg  below where the knee replacement is. It is now Week 6 and still no sign of it going anywhere, i have had a number courses of antibiotics to no avail, will find out tomorrow what our next steps will be.

Before my surgery i found out i had won a Guest Designer Spot with Lasting Memories

They are a weekly challenge page with a set Criteria

I choose to be there Guest Designer for  July as i thought I would be recovery and able to sit and complete pages but sadly i still cannot sit for long, half an hour at the most

July is Sketch month , love sketches.

It has taken me quite some time, but happy i finnished them

The first one is a very simple multi photo sketch and suitable for any occasion, but very easy and effective.

Kaisercraft "Workshop" Collection: Valiant and Courageous,  Collectables and Sticker Sheet

Kaisercraft "Factory 42" Wheels and Cogs 

Kaisercraft Kraft Tags with String.

3 Photos 3.75" x 5.75" 

CUTTING:

Cut "Courageous"  12" x 7.5"

Cut salavage from "Valiant"

Cut "Valiant" 12" x 6.25"

Cut the Cogs from " Wheels and Cogs"

ASSEMBLY:

Using "Denim" Card stock as the base

Add  "Courageous"  2.50" from the top. Do not tape the  top or bottom

Add "Valiant" 3.50" from the top 

Add the 3 photos leaving 0.25" gap between each one

Tuck the "Cogs" underneath the bottom of "Courageous"

Add tag, salavage (1" from bottom) and emblishments as per photo

  Morning all

Lovely day here in South East Queensland, but so quite, the sound of the birds singing and the  occasional siren is  the only noise, yesterday i sat here  immersed in what i was doing and completly forgot about the time as no school bell to remind me.

I completed the Card for the Atlantic Hearts Challenge

Each day i have been pulling out a bag of some of the older collections to work with, the papers i used where from 2012. I have not been scrapping or card making for that long. A friends relative passed away 2 years ago and they where going to throw all her stuff out. My friend told her daughter that she knew someone who could make good use of it. So have some very old papers I decide I would use this year,  before i purchased too new papers These cards are donated to a couple of causes every few months.

Morning all

A cloudy overcast day with expected Showers. Another day of self  isolation . Mail man just delivered the mail. No school bells to remind me of the time,  can only hear the birds chirping. Its more like a Sunday morning with no traffic and no laughter at the school. Its so  sad that this pandemic has hit so hard across the world. I hope every body is keeping well an safe.

Yesterday i completed Case 365 and use up some very, very old Kaisercraft papers, I then used the rest on a scrapbook page
They came in a mystery box late last year mostly there was only one sheet of each, but sometimes it just the right sheet.

Sketch 361: Maureen Wood

Afternoon all

This morning I need to go and gtt my scripts filled. The lady in the Chemist gave me a query look when I showed her what I wanted (10 scripts). They where only my normal monthly refills, she said don't think i can fill them all - give me 30mts. Whilst I waited I went into the supermarket, dreading that I would not be able to get anything and find the shelves empty. Not the case, they gave you toilet paper as you came in the door. Could have got  two packets but said one would do and as hubby and I walked around we got everything we needed. Meat included, nice piece of pork which will do us a few meals.
I then went back to the pharmacy and they had made everything up . Thank heavens what i required was not in short supply (The shelves where empty of pandol and thoes types of packets)

I can now stay at home and will not need to venture out until I go to hospital on the 8th April, if my surgery goes adhead.

When I came home I thought I do the Atlantic Hearts Sketch No:361

I have lots of bits and pieces from various Collection on my desk, that i have been trying to use up , so decide to use them
