Perfect weather for scrap booking, weather a lot cooler.
Today's layout is for the Kraft+ challenge. It is The challenge set is "Date", and which did have me think for a while. I decided to do one of my granddaughter trip to Disneyland and for "Dance around the world" trip where they perform in the daily street parade and have dance lessons from Disneyland to choreographers.
PRODUCTS USED:
Kaisercraft Misty Mountain collection - "Agate", and "Marbled" the sticker sheet from the collection. Texture paste and Kaisercraft white paint, sparkle medium in turquoise. Punches - 3.5"circle and 1" heart. Silver mirror card to cut dates on scan n cut. Star stencil. Blue gel pen for hidden journal. Souvenirs from Disneyland (blue bow and circle sticker). Silver glitter. Kraft card stock. Mist Mountain collectibles
CUTTING:
Cut "agate" 5"x 6".
Cut "Marbled 4.25" x 5.25"
Punched 3.5"circle from "Marbled" 2 x 1"hearts from Kraft card stock. Cut journal tag 4.5" x 4" with a tab for date at 2".
Cut dates from mirror card stock.
ASSEMBLY:
Stencilled area 7" x 12" at top of Kraft card stock. Using white and turquoise texture paste added silver glitter into the white paint.
Placed blue bow in top left hand corner, added circle just under the bow adding the dates on the outer edge then placing the diamond anniversary sticker in the middle. Affixed the circle with foam tape.
Added photo to "Marbled" then with foam tape fixed "Agate" to the the bottom of the "Marbled" affixed this to background sheet just under the circle. If you the right hand side only with foam date. This is to allow for journal tag to be placed underneath. I have run a stripped piece from sticker sheet down right hand side of photo mat.
Add hearts from sticker sheet to top and bottom of photo mat. Wrote journal onto the Kraft card stock, added date to tab and inserted it under photo mat. Added heart sticker from sticker sheet at right of photo mat, then placed craft heart central over these. Add words and tags from the collectibles.
