Today's layout is for Happy Crafters surport group. # Beyond Blue. Challenge No:11. Butterflies.
PRODUCTS USED :
Navy and white card stock.
Kaisercraft "Indigo Skies" collection - "Storm", "Chambray", "Midnight", Windswept", and collectibles.
A Mother's Art, blue butterflies.
Versa mark "Baby Blue" ink.
Clear gems
CUTTING:
Cut the salvage from "Storm and" Chambray"
Cut a 9.5" square out of the middle of "storm. Cut the white card stock 10.5"square.
Cut navy card stock 7"x 5.25, using centre of card stock. Cut" Midnight to"6.5x4.5. These are the photo mats.
Cut "Windswept" reverse 2" x 12" then cut in half the (2"x6"). Cut a V shape in the top and bottom of both pieces.
Fussy cut butterflies from "Chambray" reverse.
Ink all edges of cut pieces in "Baby Blue".
ASSEMBLY :
Lay the12"x12" with the 9.5"square remove over the navy card stock. Next centre the piece of white card stock over this 0.75"from top ad left hand side with foam tape. A fix piece of "Storm"reverse 1.5"from top and left hand side.
Layer the two pieces of" Windswept " slightly off side and 2.5" from the top and 2" from the left hand side.
Affix the "Midnight" to the Navy card stock with double sided tape. Affix photo to mat, then affix to page 3.5" from top and 1. 75 from right hand side.
Affixed salvage edges cut from "Storm" and "Chambray "across the join of the white card stock and " Storm"at top and bottom.
EMBELLISHMENTS :
Scatter a mixture of fussy cut butterflies and a "Mother's Art" butterflies around page. Added gems to larger butterflies. Added the hearts from the collectibles pack to top right and bottom left of photo mat. Used the word Happy from the collectibles packs as the title and place it just above the photo.
