Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas

 Afternoon all,

Today is cloudy and overcast, its been around 25 degrees so very pleasant.

This morning, i thought i look at White With One challenge . The colour this month is "GARNETT GLOW".

I still had a container of Christmas Dye Cuts on my table, (I took part in a couple of Christmas dye cut swap in October and November ). Had a search through my off cuts to see what I had and the layout came together very quickly.

Hope you love what I completed, as much as I do.

Dye cuts unknown brands:- Ho, Ho, Ho and Merry Christmas Word Dyes. Reindeer, Santa Sleigh, Christmas Trees dye cuts

CUTTING:

Cut "Snowball" in half

Cut striped pattern from "Wrapped the Presents" reverse  4.75" x 5"

Cut 2  x 0.50" x 12" strips of the red with the stitched pattern

Dye cut words , Santa sleigh, Christmas trees and Reindeers from red Cardstock and red glitter card stock 

Dye cut Ho, Ho, Ho from Red Mirror Board.

ASSEMBLY :

Add "Snowball " to White Card stock 1.25" from the top and 0.25" from left hand side 

Add row lace underneath

Add on strip of the Red Stitched Strip underneath lace

Add second strip to bottom of page

Add photo to stripe  4.75" x 5" piece 

Add to page 2.25" from the top and 3.50" from the left

Add three layers of Poinsettia using foam tape. See photo for placement 

Add Dye Cuts, String , Words Pearls and Collectables as per photo

 Morning all,

Another cold morning 6 degrees but it's again clear with blue skies

Absoutely beautiful in the sun.

I have not done this Challenge for a few months as to sit with my leg down was to painful.

Although this morning it is quite swollen so have revert back to my crutches to get around to the house.

The colour for the  "White with One " Challenge is "CRANBERRY CRAZE". With shapes and Texture and take something from the Mood Board 

I have use a Polka Dot Stencil whuch to mean the Cranberries , i have also used the  Polka Dot embossing folder on my Card Stock for Texture

ÇUTTING:

Cut 2 x 6.25" x 4.25" from white card stock

Cut 1 x 6.25" x 4. 25" from "Meriot"

Cut 1 x 6" strip from "Meriot"

Use boarder punch on the 6" strip of "Meriot"

Dye cut 3 butterflies bases from white card stock

Dye cut 3 butterfly tops from Meriot Card Stock

Dye cut Title from Meriot Card Stock

Fussy cut flowers in both colours from "Live Beautifully" card stock

STAMPING:

Using the "Pomegrante" ink with the corner stencil,  complete each corner as per photo

Using the Dot Stencil" add ink 2.25" from the top and 2.50 from the left for 6 " down and 4 across

Add ink to the Dot stencil 4.50" from the right and 2.25" from the top and 2" down

And 5 across

Emboss the 2 pieces of white card stock and the piece of Meriot card stock with Dot embossing Folder

ASSEMBLY:

 

Add the first embossed white rectangular cardstock 3.25" from the left and 2.25" from the top

Add the pieceof Meriot Embossed Card Stock  3.75"  from the left and 2.75 from the top

Add the second piece of the white embossed card  stock 4" from the Left and 3.75" from the top

Add 6" boarder punch piece of Meriot to right hand side of photo

Add to page 4.50" from the left hand side  and 3.75 from top

Add cluster of fussy cut flowers to the bottom left hand side of photo 

Add Rhinestones and butterflies as per photo

Add splashes of ink from the stamp pad as per photo

Its Sunday morning, where did the week ago, out the window I think. Its getting closer to my operation and a spell in hospital, as long as i dont catch anything. Fingers crossed.

CUTTING , EMBOSSING AND STENCILLING :

Cut a 4" x 4" Fish tail from "Sister"

Cut a 3" x 2" Fish tail from Sister

Cut a 5.50" x 7.25" from "Sister" 

Cut some leaves from "Sister"

Cut 4.75 x 6.75 from White card stock and emboss using the "Spring Flower embossing folder

Cut the Word "Hello" from scrap cardstock

Add the Candy Iridescent Mist to some Modelling paste till right Colour is obtained

Using Stencil Create Corners as per Photo with pink modelling paste

Using the pink modelling and the outer of the Word "Hello" as a stencil add to page 6" from the top and 0.25" from the left at an Angle

Fussy cut flowers from Friends Reverse

 ASSEMBLY:

Once the modelling page is dry add the 4" fish tail 7.25" from left hand side and 3.75" from the top

Add the 2" fish tail 8" from the top and 5" from left hand side

Add photo to frame 1.75" from the top and 1" from Left hand side  of the embossed white Card stock add to "Sister" leaving a 0.25" boarder

Add to page 2.25' from the top and3.25" from left hand side

Cut some word from the sticker sheet to use around flowers

Add embllishments as per photo

The Bridge Climb

Very humid and overcast weekend, but at least the washing dried.Thought I do a layout over the week end

The criteria for White with One this month was the colour Azure, it’s kind of blue colour and a multi photo sketch. I did find the colour difficult to match. Although the sketch is not compulsory, I loved it.

When I worked out my three photos ( the colours match perfectly) and found a piece of card stock to match, away I went. Since I only had one piece of card stock, I cut the middle square 8" x 8" out to use as my mats and dye cuts no wastage at all.

ASSEMBLY:


Add 11" Square of  "White" card  stock to outer square of "Splash"
Paint splatter White Card Stock with blue water colour
Add photo's to mats
Add mats to page leaving edges not glued
1 ) 1.25" from the top and 3.50" from left hand side
2) 4.25" from the top and 5.25" from the left hand side
3) 7.25" from the top and 2.75" from left hand side
Check picture for placement
Add Flowers pearls  and dye cuts as per Photo.

Great Days Ahead

Not sure where is week has gone, I got all the piece ready to put this layout together on Monday as i knew i had an extremely busy week coming up. It came together really easily and quickly, the  string of beads just seem to look right after the fell from the container o left them there

I did not want to do this piece as a school photo layout and am so happy with the simplicity of it

The Brief for the White with one face book challenge is to use "Mountain Air" as the second colour

The background is white card stock although it looks for off white.

Add string to Brad and  "Porcelain Frame" so that it looks like a picture hanging
Add the layered embellishment as per photo.

A dull day here but warm, thought i sit here an do  White with one challenge , i had been thinking about what i would do , since i saw the challenge at the start if the month.
The challenge is to use White plus the colour of "Chocolate Kisses".

I went searching to see if i had any old Kaisercraft "Teddy Bear Picnic" left as i thought these colours, if i had them would be perfect. Lots of fussy cut Teddy Bears , a few suitcases but no Chocolate coloured paper, So Searched through the papers further and came upon small pieces from the  "Hidden Treasures" and it was the right size as well, next found a piece from "Take Note" . Okay now have all of what i want to complete this layout. New  stamp which came in my Uniquely Creative kit. So away I go. My idea is begin to take shape.

Added "Document 3.5" from the left and 3" from the top. Using foam tape to White Card Stock
Add "Rummage " 3.5 from the left  and 3.75 from the top
Add doily to left hand side, tucking it under "Document " add white dye cut circle using foam tape add circular sentiment (check photo for placement)
Add the suitcases , bears and butterflies as per photo
Add Title and splatter with brown water coloured paint
