Lasting Memories Design Team 710 "Word Play" Spring

 

Morning all

Woke to a cold morning it was only 5 degrees or 41 Fahrenheit.  So cold and it is not expected to reach double digits until this afternoon. So cold day ahead my fingers are freezing.

It's been a busy week, but I started to tidy my papers and sort out the scraps to take to the preschool or make some cards for an order of 50.

Today it the second week of our "Seasons Wordplay." scrapbooking booking challenge here at Lasting Memories

July 14 - LM #710 - Team B - Use a product or technique for every letter in the word Spring to inspire your layout.

You can use any other items you want, as long as your page has items starting with letters in the word “Spring.” I have a few examples of scrapbooking items you could use:

S: Stars, Stamping, P:  Pattern Paper, R: Red, Rectangles, I: Indoor photos, Inking, N: Note, Navy, G: glitter, Gingham

I have my example below. Hope this inspires you to join in the fun it's not as hard as we think

Afternoon All

Another beautiful warm day today, bit chilly overnight.
Whilst i was waiting for the lady to come take myy blood this morning decided to fussy cut some more flowers from Scrap Studio. As i was thinking about doing what i thought was the second challenge in this month's Wordplay, but I have actually completed the third week for "Lasting Memories Scrapbook Blog" The Word i have used is "TULIP" and i should have used Flower.
Arh well i will do that next
I have also finally use up all the its from Scrap Studio, a lovely collection and have used it many a time over to make cards aswell as scrapbook pages.
 

When i cam back from the Chiropractor I Put the layoutt together. was feeling doo as this has been my only outing for the past week (It was only a half and Hour) butt the change of scenery was great

Kaisercraf Petwer Pearls, Butterfly Stamp

Umberella brads in pink and yellow from my stash

Kaisercraft Scrap Studio Collection:- Splatter Reverse,  Worn, Authentic Reverse, Gritty Reverse, Coarse Reverse,Tarnish Reverse, Tarnish and Collectables

Kaisercraft "Antiquities" Collection:- Valuable Reverse

Uniquely Creative:-  Uniqolour Brush Tip Markers in orange and mustard

Kaszazz Alcohol Makers in:- Leaf, Brown Sugar, Butter  and Coffee

2 Photos  5.75" x 4" landscape and 5.75" x  4" Portrait

CUTTING:

Cut "Tarnish" reverse 6" x 12"

Cut  " Worn" 12" x 0.75"  x  2 and tear  each piece

Cut  "Valuable" Reverse 1.25" x 12" x 2 and Boarder punch one end of each strip

Cut "Tarnish" 6" x  4.50" Photo mat

Cut "Splatter" Reverse 6" x 4.50" photo mat

Fussy Cut Flowers from "Gritty" Reverse

Fussy Cut Butterflies from "Coarse"

Cut lace into 2 x 14" lengths

Stamp butterflies  randomly onto "Tarnish" reverse

ASSEMBLY:

Use "Authentic" Reverse as base

Add the Boarder punch piece of "Valuable" Reverse 2.50" from the top

Add lace 2.50" from the top  sitting at the top of "Valuable" Reverse

Add the torn strip of  " Worn" to the top  of the lace  (As per photo)

Add the Boarder punch piece of "Valuable" Reverse 3.50"" from the top

Add lace 2.50" from the top  sitting at the top of "Valuable" Reverse

Add the torn strip of  " Worn" to the top  of the lace  (As per photo)

Add "Tarnish" reverse 1.75" from the top and 3.25" from the bottom (see photo for further detail)

Add photo's to mats

Add the landscape photo mat hard against left hand side and 4" from the top

Add the portrait photo mat hard up agaist the right hand side and 2.75" from the top

Stamp Butterflies onto  "Authentic" Reverse three at top and two at the bottom

Colour using Uniqolour Brush Tip Markers in orange and mustard

Add embellishments as per photo with two flower clusters one at top and the other at the botto left hand side

Add pearls to butterflies and add the brads of  two pink and one yellow umbrellas to flower clusters
