Yesterday I created a layout for the Kaisercraft Blog Challenge.

This month it was a sketch challenge.
I have use this month's "Stargazer " collection to create  this layout  using my grandchildren school photo's from 2007

PRODUCTS USED:

Kaisercraft "Stargazer" papers  Milky way, Cosmic, Orbit  and Universe. Acetate sheet - Galactic, Sticker sheet and Collectables.
White and Navy card stock from Kaisercraft.
Coconut paper Blooms by Kaisercraft.
Embossing Folder "Stars" from Kaisercraft.
Perfume  Label Dye and Rose dye from Kaisercraft.
White and Black Paint from Kaisercraft
Silver Glitter
Silver Pearl drops
Star Stencil.Kaisercraft
Texture Paste


CUTTING:

Cut "Cosmic" 6" x 10" and  cut fish tale at one end
Cut Orbit 12" x 4.5 "
Cut the Word, Dream from "Galactic" Acetate sheet 
Cut photo mat from Navy and white card stock 4.5" x 3.5" and ran through the star embossing folder
Dye cut Perfume bottle label and Rose dyes from "Comic and Universe" paper
Cutting Perfume label in half
Fussy cut  flowers  from the remaining of "Orbit"  and leaves from from "Universe" reverse. 



 ASSEMBLY:

Applied star stencil using  a mixture of black paint, white paint, glitter and  texture paste over the entire sheet of "Milky Way" reverse.
Applied texture paste with the mixture of Black and white paint to  "Cosmic" at fish tale end for  2"

Added   "Cosmic" 3" from the top and straight edge 0.75 from right hand side fish tale facing left hand side.using foam tape
Added "Orbit"  5.5" from right hand edge, using foam tape

Added the two photo's to the star embossed mats using 3.75" x 3" photos, with foam  squares. Placing these photo overlapping at an angle onto "Orbit" and " Milky Way" 2.25" from top .

Now it time to add the embellishments using the cut perfume bottle label tucked these under the right hand side, placing the fussy cut leaves under these 
Added stars from sticker sheet at the bottom of "Orbit' and navy and white strip of stars across fish tale . then continued to built up the layer with remainder of fussy cuts and dye cut roses.. Added collectable words  phrases and pearl drops  Thu out. added three coconut blooms under the large white flowers which i had built up using foam dots.
Added year  that i had cut off photo.
