Live for today ( Maureen W ) AUST

 Morning all

The weekend is over. Time just seems to fly by these days.

The sun is shinning and looks like it will be another beautiful day.

Today's layout I am entering in to two challenges

http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/

Not entered this one before.  Started to follow them just before I had surgery.  I decided to do their Remix or scrap lift challenge this month, as i thought it would be a good way to use up some of the scraps in the bags of collections.   Need to use 5 different Pattern Papers. I had to piece together the check piece so I could get the rectangle I wanted.

The second challenge page is for " The Studio Challenge "

http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.com/

I normally enter this one but haven't done so since surgery

There is a Recipe Challenge to use: Paper Strips , Flowers ,Gems, Paint or Ink (I have inked all the edges of the paper Strips) and butterflies. I thought it matched in well with the remix Challenge.  I hope you like my take on it

The studio challenge usually have a fortnightly challenge which is good. More photos to get scrapped.

No Party (Maureen) W AUST

 Morning all

Another overcast day with tops of 30 which means high humidity.

Firstly I would like to thank each and everyone of you for looking at by blog. I have reached 12 thousand hits which is amazing in the three years since i started.

Our family would like to wish each and everyone of you a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year. I hope the virus vaccine works and that we can get back to some normality in the New Year.  My thoughts and prayers go out to  all that have lost someone. I know many have.

The page today is for the "The Studio Challenge blog"

http://thestudiochallenges.blogspot.com

The challenge is to create a layout looking back on something we learnt or something we would prefer  to forget from 2021.

I create a layout of our Great Grandson when he turned 3 and he was so upset when he could not have his friends or cousins come to his Birthday Party. It was at the begin of COVID19 when we first went into hard lockdown.

All he wanted was a jet ski and a party like his brother at Day Care.

The jet ski ( A TOY ) I found after ringing around shops for one and it was sent to N.S.W just in time for his Birthday.

I hope you like my layout, lots of hidden journaling in the fold out book at the bottom of the page.
