 Afternoon all

It's midday nearly,  I have completed another card this morning,  I had a cuppa thinking about what I would use to create this circle card, would I cut some circles  or look in my container which has some already cut, then I have a container of circles from my emblishments where I've used all the paper.  They not big containers only the take away plastic food ones they used to use. I brought new ones to house my collectables, creative cuts other come with a collection, hubby adapted size shelving and they stack nicely and it means I don't need to search for them when doing a layout. T hey also hold all my fussy cut pieces as well.

Afternoon all

Can not believe its already the end of October.

The weekend is over, not that I got done what I wanted. Our son gave us some recliners so it meant shifting the lounge around and it meant the table I scrap on had to go for a smaller one. So no scrapping or card making as planned yesterday.

Been another busy week,  i have been slack in doing my blog posts. Although I have been creating,, have been having a nap in the afternoon instead of writing a post and posting  on to the  challenge sites, So this afternoonI am  going to try and catch up some of the cards and layouts I have completed this week.

 Afternoon All

This is another card from Thursday , been busy this morning scrapbooking, catching up on some challenges after a busy week, It will be another one next week have three appointments  next week I wish they could all be done on the same day but no that would be a miracle plus a blood test.

Its another warm day today, when I finish this it will be coffee time and a snooze.

I had been using my scrap box so out it came for this one as well, the water can is a rub on, had been using the last of the sheet for some Spring ATC swaps now the sheet is finished. That's an achievement in its self I have them for heavens know how long at least 10 years and they where still as good as knew. the Bread bin I kept my stickers works well.

Good Morning

Its a much cooler day today then yesterday. Its cloudy with a bit rain last night. The forecast for our Spring is a wet one. A little rain each week would be nice for the garden but not to much.

I decided to start the month with a Card Skech. The first sketch challenge for the week is "Atlantic Hearts" . Looking back i haven't entry this challenge since I spent a lengthy spell in hospital in April.

I am back into doing things now, so here is my entry

 Afternoon all

Today is so much different to warm days we have been having of late. A sudden storm this morning brought heavy rain and westerly wind. The rain had stopped but the wind has not disappeared and its cold as well. We have been spoilt with the weather this last week, but need the rain as it was starting to look a bit dry.

Yesterday I spent the day making  cards for an order, so to the mix, I added a sketch challenge as well

I have used Uniquely Creative "Wild" Collection . It was good because  I only have small scraps left which fitted the sketch beautifully.

 Afternoon All

Today has had another cool start,  and a beautiful 21 degrees Celsius day.

This morning thought I better make a card to get in the post for our daughter's Birthday, was having a look at Instgram and saw that Sketch N Scrap had a new card Sketch challenge up.

I thought if I turned it around it would make the perfect card for what I wanted to use to make our  daughter's card from. Just love the papers from The Uniquely Creative "Tranquillity " Collection.

I hope you like my interpretation of the card. Iam pleased with the way it turned out.

After coffee , I will take a stroll (MASK ON )down to corner Post Box, luckily I have stamps, as the only reason  we can leave our home is to exercise, buy food, seek medical treatment, have our COVID jab or  be tested for COVID19. 

We have been in lockdown now for 2 weeks tomorrow, Still new cases popping up in the community 60% are children which is not good

 Morning all

Another card challenge complete, also another one from my scrap box, which is great.

Not even cutting them down, much as the pieces are fitting beautifully together

Most of these bits come from Porta Craft Lavender days Collection with some other bits 

I remembered  buying it quite a few years ago, for some scrapbook pages for a lady that adored Lavender , there is still some bits left . I will find a use for them one day

 Morning all

The sky was such a beautiful blue just after sunrise this morning, after a week of wet weather. It was so nice to see. Glad I woke early as I have a few loads of washing to do today since it is fine. I despise damp clothes hanging around and since we live in a climate where it only occasionally rains during summer, I don't want a dryer. Love the smell of freshly dried clothes from the sun. Although in the summer they dry  under cover.

Yesterday I made this card. I used an embossing folder through the centre as I thought on light pink it just need something else.

Today's card is for Sketch n Scrap weekly challenge.

I have used bits from my Scrap Box. The paper is from Hobby Fun Co. LTD. I've had it for years there was only 4.5" x 12" piece left which was just enough to create the bottom panel and I used the reverse side for the top panel with some Lemonade Card Stock in between, a dye cut from my stash with a Uniquely Creative flower.

I hope you like it as its quite bright.

 Morning guys 

The sky turned blue this morning,  but more rain expected.  Have my second loaded of washing on  with the breeze today it should dry things out.

March Card Sketch

 Morning  all

Its a perfect day, a it loud but not too hot  the nights have called down. Hubby has planted some onions, lettuce and tomatoes.  We don't normally get a very cold winter so hopefully we get an abundance of tomatoes so I can make jams and pickles.

Today is a card I am entering into Stick it Down Card Sketch challenge. The sket h looks like a clean and simple lines. My never turn out that way

I gave used an embossing folder, as I didn't like just the circle, I have also used a Kaisercraft Retro flower and rhinestones, the butterfly was one from my stash I cut previously .

Hi  Guys,

This is the second card I did the other day which I am entering into week 4 over at Sketch n Scrap.

Today is overcast and quite humid, we did have rain overnight, though.

 I should have posted this yesterday but our granddaughter was down for her dental appointment which was early as she had to go back and get her plate in the afternoon (Braces). We spent a lovely 4 hours just talking. It was great

Maureen Wood Sketch and Scrap card No 187

 Morning all 

It's cloudy and overcast but already 24 degree's Celsius,  suppose to be tops of 30 degree's.

So a warm and humid day. We had some rain overnight again, tanks now topped up.

Grass looking so green after it was mowed on Tuesday

Yesterday was all about card making and finishing off a Birthday card.  I made 3 cards before heading off to A doctors appointment in the afternoon   it took 30mts to go in and 2 hours to come home, hate afternoon appointments as we lays seem to hot peak hour traffic. We waited at some intersections for up to 6 light changes. Hubby did not want to go the free-way as it was already backed back with still two sets of lights to get through . AR well those are the breaks at least we Don't have to do it everyday.

I was making aged birthday cards and checking them off as I went and realised that I had not completed the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this month Also this month Cookin up creations forum is using  This weeks Card Sketch 408 by Michelle Stewart  as the card of the month challenge

Love the simplicity of the card and went on to use what was on my table, (Kaisercraft Lilly and Moss Collection ) they were small pieces and the card sketch has a middle piece. I was able to use this and hide it under the strips at top and bottom of centre piece. I hope you like my card
