Stay Wild

 Hello,

Its still raining, thought I have a go with the  Archi Scraps challenge.

Its all about curves or flying Buttress. As I still had my Sticker Sheet box out (all thoes sticker sheets you never finished that come with Collections) . I had it out early looking for word stickers I could use. I found several rows of different types and have used them

Then I went and found my circle tin. It has lots of different sizes that where cut for me before I had circle dyes or a machine to cut them out.. The variety of colours and sizes come in handy

Happy Birthday

 Afternoon All

Woke up to thunder and lightening this morning, it progressively became worse , we had very heavy rainfall for about 30 minutes with strong winds blowing. It has been showering on and off all morning, its again become dark, Its nearly time to pick the kids up from school, so of course it will rain again.

Watching the news with so many greatly effective  with whole houses being washed away by the rain and death toll rising, I pray this is over soon.

Yesterday i started to put some of my layouts away into their receptive albums. It did clear the box I kept them in . Must learn to put them away once blogged or photograph.  I have to do our Great Granddaughters yet, so many to sort , I will do some more this afternoon.

I have two rooms pulled apart and craft  stuff everywhere, due to having water in the rooms I will be going through it and donating what I don't need.

This morning I decided to do something fun and messy (I do hate messy) . I decided to do Archiscraps Challenge.  The criteria was to use Scalloped Edges and Texture (Hence the messy)

The Adventure Begins

Afternoon all

I thought I get one more done today. Its been a lovely day with the breeze  blowing and no interruptions as hobby's been out . I did hear on the news that it is going to rain over the next couple of days. Of course its the Easter long week end and we're in lockdown.

I was not sure about this challenge for archi - scraps. the criteria was mixed media with lots of colour.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/627040677839553

Not a fan of doing a mixed media challenge, but have worked up the courage to give the  challenge to  go.

I have used ink through a stencil, normally use modelling paste only and sprayed purple ink.

I hope that's enough for the mixed  media part.

Lots of purple, oranges and Sea green for the bright colour scheme I have placed a leaf over the other couple in the photo. The photo was taken at their engagement party in 1971.

Let's Be Adventurers (Maureen W) AUST

Morning all,

Lovely cool morning, but so silent. I completed this layout last week when i thought I was going into hospital, on the morning of surgery it was postphoned.

This layout is for Archi-scraps, the citeria was to think about all things Egypt and create a page, card, etc. Explain how your piece of work relates back to Egypt.

The pictures in my layout , have been taken in the desert in the Northern Territory of Australia  with a massive amount of sand as far as the eye can see.  The rock formation remind me of the pyramids, the desert reminded me of Egypt, i have used triangles on my page to also represent the Pyramids.
