 Good Morning . 

Happy Easter to everyone I hope its an awesome long weekend. 

Pool is in , just waiting on grouting of the retainer wall and pool fencing to be be finished. We where allowed to use it on Thursday it was 30 degrees celsius (86 in fahrenheit) it felt much hotter after they cleaned in and set everything up. It was close on seven before everyone came in. Although it was fine this morning was only in the early twenty degree after the grandchildren had laid some new turf  around the outside they all had a swim as the pool heater was on overnight and was a warm 25 degree or 77 F

This afternoon it has been raining. Hopefully the weather warms up.

Yet another week has gone by, nearly end of March. Our Swimming pool is in just the landscaping and pool fencing left to do.

March is upon on us . How quick did February fly by?

Its been a wet week, the sun finally came out on Saturday afternoon. 

Autumn is now upon us,  but we due at hot spell for next week. We just will have to wait and see ehat sort of weather we will get 

Today we start a new month of challenges.           At Lasting Memories.

It's all about using up your stash. I need to turnover some older stash. We been given a word to use "CHARM". We must pick out of our stash using each letter in the stash. Mine are

 Morning all 

Back for another week of Fun at Lasting Memories I have joined the "B" team this week to help Out

the Theme this month is "Words" and this week we would like you to use at Least 50 words in your journalling. Some may think this is a bit hard, buts it's not. Type it up like I did and you be surprised how easy it is, especially photos of place. Your travel photos would be ideal just need to think outside the box.

I have written up a spiel about "Holden Cars" they used to be a very car making manufacturing company in Australia. My generation would be able to tell you a lot of tales as to what e got up to in our "Holden cars or UTE's.

Come join us this week and tell the stories. We are creating these stories on our pages for future generations to know what we did in our day.

A New Year and New projects

I missed the first one in January  as was unwell . This month its all about sketches, a good way to easy your back into your grove.

I do love sketches and since its been a couple of month' since I have been in my craft room , as family visited during December and a few hospital visits in November. It was hard to get my head around all the new paper I received in the form of kits and Christmas Gifts.

Decided to use the January Kit from Uniquely Creative with this weeks sketch

Another warm day just like the week has been , heat and thunderstorms, humidity has been lower than i am use to which is good.

What a week its been! So busy with appointments and its been so hot. The hottest recorded October in Sydney so far on record. Over the weekend it has been much cooler thank heavens

Good Morning all.

I hope your warmer then we are here in Australia, an Artarctic blast of cold air is hitting us now.  Freezing weather with snow to hit highlands areas across several states. Thank heavens we are by the sea, but that wind is very cold.

As we approach Spring and a new month. Lasting Memories is bringing us a new challenge and its all about "Pattern Paper"

 Morning all

Another week has passed us by, which means my renovation are one step away from being completion.

Craft room joinery installed Monday, touch up paint, cutting down of doors , some grouting and installation of my stove. I think they will all be tripping over each over to get it done Monday. 

Cleaner coming Tuesday to clean paint and plaster dust off places they shouldn't be.  Next step is unpacking everything and finding homes for it all.

To say the least none of these are my favourite things to use. 

I have chosen glitter, there was glitter on the page when I put the  container down, I also added Kindy Glitz  to the bow and butterfly and sequins to the flowers

I went to get the glitter container not realising there was a hole in the container.  Well I now have glitter across my brand new flooring in two rooms plus all over my slippers. Its now time to clean it all up. I can't blame the great grandson for adding to my clean up. Off to find a new container to put them on

Another cold week, new kitchen and ceiling has been installed.  progress with my little flat continuing

Next week is the Art room, it's all been cleared out and have stuff packed away everywhere, it will be great when I can unpack, and it's all done

What a cold windy week it's been.

The cold and wind it's blowing in from the Antarctic.  Another week is expected of it. My craft  room is under renovations so mostly things are packed away but will soon have a new space so I can keep things tidy and get back on track

We back with the last challenge page for June for the A Team , at Lasting Memories

I hope you have fun using up or designing pages with the scraps or with full pages cut apart. I know from this particular Uniquely Creations Collection I have scrapped at least 7 pages with it and using up the last bits on this layout and a few cards I can put this paper collection to rest. Happy ME

Let's have fun with papers this month! Incorporate one of each size paper onto your layout for our challenge at

Lasting Memories

Here are some general guidelines:

• Rectangular strips can be border punched, turned into banners or tags.

• Larger rectangles, circles or squares should be left whole.

• If you'd like to do a double page, use all of the required pieces on one page and then duplicate only those you want on the 2nd page.

• Photos may be matted with additional paper.

• Add your choice of embellishments, titles, journaling, etc.

• You can use scraps or cut pieces out of whole sheets of paper.

Use the following sizes of papers on your layout.

3 - 5" squares

3 - 1.5 x 5 strips

3 - 2" circles

  Morning all,

Last Friday night at a Craft and chat session I have completed the card Sketch challenge from  Craftin' round the World Challenges. I can tick off another one complete.

Great Grandson has decided my corner rounder is his, the punch I used did not  quite punch the page not sure if the paper was too thin or I need to sharpen it with some aluminium foil, or the last option is buying a new one

 Morning all

Have recommence my design Teamwork again after a long absence.

I now have a room for all my craft belongings although not all boxes unpacked but I will get there in time.

This month at Lasting Memories we are playing Tic -Tack-Toe. So many choices up, down, across, and bottom to top.

I have chosen the middle row top to bottom. Two photos, Doily and Fussy cutting.

I chose some material doilies I had in my stash to go underneath the focal point. I cut each one in half, so I had enough. Fussy cut the Hot Air Balloon and the spray of flowers. Used a 6" x 4" photo and a 2" x 3" photo

Design Team Lasting Memories Challenge #724 "AUTUM' Team A

 

  Hello, hello! 

Last week of physio, thank heavens, I  will still kept the exercises up at home.

The weather has been very unpredictable with a couple of seasons in  day. rained overnight but a lovely Spring afternoon

Not much time this week to get much done .

At the Lasting Memories Challenge Blog! We are celebrating fall with all things autumn. For this week's challenge, we are taking our inspiration from the HARVEST. Find inspiration in the growing crops by using ascending sizes of paper strips or shapes. Or create a colourful ombre design to symbolize the growth. 

Completed this week's Inspiration on Tuesday, probably not Autumn colours  but the green to me represents new growth and the purple reminds me of th colours of Autumn leaves. Cutting strips of paper for the ascending for the growth of crops.
