Card Sketch (Maureen W) AUST

 Morning  all

Its turned out a hot humid day after it rained all day yesterday.  At least our area has not been subjected to floods,  like other parts of North Queensland.

I am sitting  here with the window open just a slight breeze coming through,  the birds are chirping and its so peaceful

Yesterday I  spent most of it catching up on my card swaps and challenge cards.

Today's card is for "Stick it Down " monthly card challenge

http://stickitdown.blogspot.com/

I have made this card using Kaisercraft "Lollipop" card stock and some scraps from Kaisrcraft "Bombay Sunset" a strip from a Gold Foil Sticker Sheet and Gold Pearls

I hope you like it.

Maureen wood (AUST) card sketch

Afternoon all

It’s been another beautiful day here is South East Queensland, a warm day with an overnight low of 10 degrees

It’s been so quiet today. My back has been extremely painful for the last few days that  I actually took so pain meds as i could not move and sitting was just about impossible, taking this has been i have slept all afternoon but have woken up feeling a little better, so thought i do this blog post. Sitting here someone as put their wood burner fire on as I can smell the wood burning such a lovely smell feels like you need a pot of soup or hot chocolate.

I made the card this morning, it's for Stick it Down Monthly Card Sketch  presently using up scraps that i had in a bag. This sketch fitted perfectly

Stick it Down also have a single and Double page layout sketch challenges as i go into hospital on Wednesday for a full knee replacement so will probably be out of action until the end of the month and won't get either of these completed.

Let's Be Adventurers (Maureen W) AUST

Morning all,

Lovely cool morning, but so silent. I completed this layout last week when i thought I was going into hospital, on the morning of surgery it was postphoned.

This layout is for Archi-scraps, the citeria was to think about all things Egypt and create a page, card, etc. Explain how your piece of work relates back to Egypt.

The pictures in my layout , have been taken in the desert in the Northern Territory of Australia  with a massive amount of sand as far as the eye can see.  The rock formation remind me of the pyramids, the desert reminded me of Egypt, i have used triangles on my page to also represent the Pyramids. I also think the Eucalyptus leaves and the bush mouse ears remind me as well with their pointy ends
