Card Sketch 458 Maureen W (AUST)

Afternoon all,

Oh ,my what a day this has been, just have the jug on to make a cup,

Started out with a plan on what needed doing before the chiropractor,  loaded of towels done and hung out, make a challenge card done, make the card for a Birthday tomorrow didn't get done, add graphics to USB Stick to print the wedding invitation. That's when it fell apart.

We where working in Inscape , but need to save it has a PDF file or Jpeg file, no problems doing that. But each time we save it and did a test run , it was different,no graphics , extra words or questions marks, it was extremely frustrating,  in the middle of it went to the chiropractor which gave me a chance to think of a solution , which I did and after we came back hubby and a mate fiddle around for a while , not listening to my solution.  Finally with time running he decides to listen

Printing now all done, now to just put them in envelopes.

Finished my whinge. The card today is for Atlantic Hearts Card Sketch No 458.

Used scrap bits taped together and then cut with a rectangular dye.

The dye cut Hello , I have used holographic paper , didn't come out well in the photo

Maureen W (AUST) card sketch No : 408

 Afternoon all,

I was making aged birthday cards and checking them off as I went and realised that I had not completed the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this month Also this month Cookin up creations forum is using  This weeks Card Sketch 408 by Michelle Stewart  as the card of the month challenge

http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.com/

Love the simplicity of the card and went on to use what was on my table, (Kaisercraft Lilly and Moss Collection ) they were small pieces and the card sketch has a middle piece. I was able to use this and hide it under the strips at top and bottom of centre piece. I hope you like my card

Maureen W (AUST) Sketch 403

Hello All

Its been a very hot day 35 degrees, we just had a thunder storm with lots of thunder and lightening, but little rain. Somewhere close by must have been hit, radar shows we where on the outskirts of the storm

Today I have been participating in a cyber crop weekend. Its all about sketch's and journaling. I have two out of the three layouts nearly completed. It was too dark to continue so cleared away. Waited till it finished then completed this post.

I made this card early this morning for the Challenge NO:403 for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge .

https://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.com/

Our Daughter was in the top three last week, I loved her penguin stamped imagine. I am a paper person she loves to stamp and colour. we don't get to see each other often as she lives in another state and with borders closed due to COVID19 it makes it impossible this last year.

I have used Kaisercraft "Factory 42" Collection, basically I have only scraps left and one full sheet of paper, this type of card is easy to make when you have scraps

Maureen Wood Sketch 391

 Morning all.

The sun is shinning, we actually had rain yesterday not much around 20ml , some areas got as much as 80 to 100ml but its something to wet the ground and make the yard look a bit green.

I say we'll get a storm later today as the humidity has already started to rise.

This will be my last sketch challenge for a couple of weeks as i will be in hospital  but as soon as i am out, so will be my craft stuff.

I am entering my card into the Atlantic Hearts weekly Sketch challenge.

http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.com

I have used scraps from two collections from Close To my Heart. I do love those black butterflies.

Hope you like my card.

Card sketch 389 (Maureen )

 Morning all,

It's Sunday morning the crows are very noisy this morning. We have  clear blue skies and an expected top of 28 today.

I was up early this morning, so I finished off the card to enter into the Atlantic Hearts Weekly Sketch Challenge.

https://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.com/

Yesterday I clean and sorted my scrap boxed between paper and card stock.

I found these papers amongst the pile of papers and card stock (so many little bits) yesterday that are to good to throw away. The card base was in there also.

I have embossed the base, the piece of green was already embossed and added A Mothers Art Butterfly

I do hope you like it

Card sketch No 388 Maureen W

Afternoon everyone

Its been quite a warm day, been to the Chiropractor this morning and when looking for some small lettering as i need 5 but only had 4 small a's. So hard to find.  To my annoyance Riot Art and Craft had closed down and so had all the cheap shops except for one but didn't sell them. On the way home the  Freeway was like a car park. On the way to the Chiropractor we saw one accident but luckly  we could turn off onto a back road to avoid it, but come home also using the back roads there where a few in the 10klm trip . I said to hubby we will go to one  more shop at another shopping centre before we head home, luckly in the bins outside the shop they had exactly what I needed. Now onto what i am posting after my rant.

Today's card is for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge No : 388 is perfect design for my card swap . I was working on card orders last week so never completed one. Although our Daughter did get one of the Top 3 Designs in Sketch 387.

Card Sketch 375. (Maureen W) AUST

Morning All,

It's Saturday here in Australia and another beautiful winters day. The sun is shining with a light breeze.

I haven't done any challenges for a while, since I had surgery in early May, I have not been able to sit and scrapbook or card make for more than 15mts at a time. I have been doing lots of fussy cutting though which you see in some layouts to come.

My time at my craft table and time spent with my leg up is improving. The infection I had is slowly going away, so can do a bit more each day.

I decided I would do the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, as my first challenge back.

Love the card challenges as it gives me more cards for our Troops Serving Overseas

The sketch is No 375
