Its actual Sunday morning , rather chilly 9 degrees but a clear blue sky. I decided to get ahead of my self and write this post up early, I completed this layout earlier this week ( as i knew i would have a busy week) to form a double page for my sister in law for her sister.
Both i completed with the same papers . It is my husband sister and her boys take around 1957 ( she passed away late last year).
As it is Mothers Day here in Australia i thought it would add another page to the commemorative album I am making of her life as a young Mum at the end of World War 2, how she sew her own clothes and that of her boys, wash and cooked using a wood fired stove and a copper. None of the mod cons we have these days.
I had found this paper in a thrift shop with some collectables and other paper (10) sheets in all with lots of cut pieces, the circle i have used was actually already cut, the same with the fussy cut flowers. One less for me to do , so it came together really quickly
The Kaisercraft Collection "Needle and Thread" certainly suits these black and white photos
