Today I bring you the sketch challenge for Lasting Memories

The challenge is to use the sketch plus the scrappy twist is to use Tags on your layout.

Morning all

Another hot and muggy day  humidity is at 77%. Very cloudy but still 30degrees.

I finished this layout yesterday afternoon. I hope you like it, i have again used papers from the "Letters to Santa" paper pad which i actually won two of them. The collection is 3 years old but never get tired of using it, but alas I am running  out of 2019 photos which is a first that I am actually up to date with something.

This is case file 340, I have taken my inspiration from the colours and textures from the photo.

Kaisercraft "Letters to Santa ":- Be Merry Reverse , Poinsettia Garland Reverse,  Green Polka Dot and the Red Polka Dot with Garland  are from the 12" Paper Pad and Believe in the Magic Reverse

Kaisercraft "Christmas Edition":- Christmas Tree Reverse

Uniquely Creative:-String  Washi tape and Laser cut words

Kaisercraft Art Markers No: 5, 54 and 166

2 x 4" x 4" Photos

CUTTING:

Cut "Poinsettia Garland " 12 x 11" and Distress both top and bottom edges

Cut "Christmas Tree Reverse 12" x 6" and Distress both top and bottom edges 

Cut "Green Polka Dot" paper 12" x 4.5" Distress both top and bottom edges 

Cut "Red Polka Dot " paper with Garland  2.5" x 12"

Cut tag 2" x 2.5" from "Believe in the Magic "

ASSEMBLY:

Add "Poinsettia Garland " to " Be Merry " Reverse 0.50" from the top

Add "Christmas Tree Reverse " 3" from the top

Add "Green Polka Dot " paper 4" from the top

Tuck piece of " Red Polka with Garland " underneath  "Christmas Tree Reverse "

Colour the "Holly" and the "Garland" as per photo using Kaisercraft Art Markers 

Add the two different Colour String to the bottom of "Christmas Tree Reverse "

Add the two photo's  2" from the left and 4.25 " from the top

Add Sting to  tag

Add journal to tag

Add to page 5" from top and hard against right hand side 

Add the two laser cuts which have been coloured using Kaisercraft Art Markets 5,54 and 166 As per Photo 

Add Washi tape above "Christmas Tree Reverse "

First Christmas

Morning all,

Its Monday again already. We have been having some chilly starts to the mornings this week, as low as 5 degrees but highs of 22 during the day, with lovely sunshine.
To day i am sharing  a very quick and easy layout, with no fussy cutting using the Christmas in July Designer layout kit
Some lovely Echo Park and Reminisce paper in the kit. The hardest thing was which side to use.

CUTTING:

Cut 0.25" from the bottom of "Christmas  Tree  Magic "
Lumber Jack Plaid 8.5" x 4.75"
Twas the Night before Christmas 4" x 6.75"
Twas the Night before Christmas  a sentiment 2.25" x 4"
A Perfect Christmas 4.5" x  7"



ASSEMBLY:

Use "Christmas Tree  Magic" Reverse  as base
Add 4" x 7" piece  of "A Perfect Christmas" to8.5" x 4.75" piece of "Lumber Jack Plaid" ensuring the bottom match as well as the right hand side. Add the piece of "Twas the Night Before Christmas " 4"x 6.75" using foam tape and that bottom and right hand side match to the piece of "A Perfect Christmas ".
Add photo to mat 0.75" from the left and photo sitting at bottom of mat
Add the sentiment to base at an angle see photo for detail (top left hand corner 1" from left hand side)
Add photo mat to base 2" from the left and 2.50 from the top at an angle see photo for further information.
Add embellishments from the collectables pack as per photo.
Add pearls and gems as per photo
Have used leftover lettering for part of title
