Today's post is the June Challenge for "Off the Rails Scrapbooking Blog spot" A mood Board
My Interpretation of this mood Board:
PRODUCTS USED:
Kaisercraft Island Escape Collection , Two Sheets of Makai, one sheet of Bird of Paradise , sticker sheet, Flourishes and Collectables. Kaisercraft "Coastal Escape" Collection - Palms .
Cadence Relief Paste in Gold, Uniquely Creative Sand Stencil, Kaszazz Alcohol markers in Butter and Melon. Kaisercraft Fusion Pen BR07. White canvas and Kaisercraft String in Brown
Starlight "Black Metallic Paint.
Photo 5.25" x 3.25"
CUTTING and STENCILING:
Cut Salvage of "Palms"
Cut Salvage off "Makai" then cut 3.5" x 10 off the bottom.
The cut a middle piece 3.5" x 10" with the ocean
Photo mat 4.25" x 6.25" from "Bird Paradise"
Using "Gold" relief paste and Sand Stencil. I stencil 3" x 10" across the piece starting at 0.25" from the bottom of "Makai".
Fussy cut around the Hibiscus and the Palm tree of the reverse of "Makai".
Painted the wooden flourish with a mixture of alcohol pens and black metallic paint
ASSEMBLY:
Joined the two pieces of "Makai". to form a 10" x 8.75" .
Added this to "Palms 1.50" from the top and 1" from left hand side
Added the fussy cut Hibiscus and Palm tree of the reverse of "Makai" to the left hand side of "Palm"
and at the bottom of the piece of "Makai" .
Added piece of canvas under the "Bird of Paradise" photo mat then added photo to mat, using foam dots. Allowing the Palm leaves to overlap Photo, place at the bottom Of "Makai" and 3" from Left hand side
Use the sea shells from sticker sheet to cover join at the right of Photo frame.
Then ran the remaining stickers 1" from bottom of "Makai"and to the right of the photo mat these are hidden by the wooden fence.
Added title to the left hand corner of the "Makai" at an angle
Added the Collectables and remaining wooden flourishes as per photo of layout.
