Forever



Morning all,

The sun is shine, after yesterday bleak day, I think we are in for a warm one today
Making cards this afternoon, as it is "World Card Making Day" today.
I finally finished this layout, late yesterday. I had been working on it for several days as just could not get the layering right for the cluster of flowers (that i was actually partial happy with).

This challenge is for:  Artastic challenge blog page:

The challenge is to take inspiration  from  Lyn Butchart with a piece called "Green Peacock"

THE CRITERIA -  Monochromatic (can be any colour)Feel free to use black, white, kraft or navy as your accent colours.

I really had to think about this one, before i decide if i would give it a ago and hopefully  I have the colours right. I have used shades of red right down to the lower end of the colour wheel, using a reddish pink for my heart and circle.What  Does Monochromatic mean:- relating to, or having tones of one colour in addition to the ground hue: 





MY INTERPRETATION:




PRODUCTS USED:

Kaisercraft Remember Me Collection:-  Ava, Hannah, Margaret, red card stock, Black and clear pearls, Rose dyes  stitched rectangle dye and flourish Dye
Kaisercraft stickers sheets from "Telegraph Road", "O so Lovely" and "Story Teller"
Imaginarium Design chipboard
Kaszazz "Crimson" Alcohol Ink Marker
Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
Photo 3.25 x 4.75

INKING:

Inked chipboard using  Kaszazz "Crimson" Alcohol Ink Marker
Once dried applied Mod Podge Dimensional Magic once first coat had dried added second coat

CUTTING:

Cut 10" circle from "Hannah
Cut 9.50" heart from "Margaret"
Cut 9.25" heart from "Hannah"
Dye cut small and large flourish from red card stock
Dye cut 3.50" x 5"  photo mat from red card stock using rectangle dyes
Dye cut 2 x Roses from Red card stock and  2 x from "Hannah"

ASSEMBLY:

Added 10" circle to "Ava"
Added the 9.50" heart  cut from "Margaret" 1.25" from the top and 1.25" from left hand side
Added the 9.25" heart cut from "Hannah" to middle of the larger heart using foam dots 
Added photo to photo mat cut from red card stock
Added photo mat 4.25" from the left hand side and 4.25" from the top using foam dots
Added large red flourish to the right hand side of photo, tucking it under the photo mat
Cut the smaller one  (see photo) and added it at the bottom of photo with three heart shaped stickers from  "Telegraph Road"
Added the painted chipboard title 2.25" from the left and 0.25" from top
Added flower clusters tucking in under the photo mat and layering them  three deep in certain sections, (flowers length taken from the sticker sheet  of "Telegraph Road" and "Story Teller") Adding Dye cut roses to the second layer

Add pearls to centre of flowers and after the title
