The Three Sisters (Maureen Wood) Aust

Another warm day, after a hot long weekend, we just hoping it will rain soon.This afternoon post is for a Challenge done over on the KRAFT + blog spot.

As i am not an arty person , I hate getting my hands dirty this was truly a challenge I tried a few different techniques before settling with what i have done. Could not get the dots right using paint or a stencil got so messy hope the paint washes out
I ended up using a stencil and texture paste with a few bits of scrap of paper from Kaisercraft "Open Road"Collection, the red / orange Texture paste was in a container so must have used it before for something.



MY INTERPRETATION:








PRODUCTS USED:

Kraft Card stock
Ranger Texture Paste
Kaisercraft Upper and Lower case Alpha Dyes. White, Red and Yellow paint, Wooden Flourishes
"Open Road"Collection:- Roaming, Roaming Reverse, Undiscovered, Prospecting Reverse, Bush walk and Bush walk Reverse
Uniquely Creative Stencils:- Small Paint Strokes and Waves
Photo 4.75" x  4"

CUTTING: 


Cut  5" x 4" Photo mat from "Roaming " Reverse
Cut two 1.75" x 5.75"   fish tales from "Prospecting" Reverse and "Bush walk"
Cut 4" x 5"  from "Roaming"
Fussy cut Waratah from  "Roaming"
Fussy cut gum Leaves from "Bush walk" Reverse
Dye cut title from "Undiscovered"


STENCILING:


Using red/ orange texture paste and Small Paint strokes stencil left hand side  in a 2" x 2" square
Using white texture paste and Small Paint Strokes,stencil do 2 rows at 3.5" wide
Next use the Waves stencil. Using Page as your guide for completion of colours


ASSEMBLY:


Add photo to mat
Once stenciling has dried 
Add 4" x 5"  from "Roaming"3.75" from the top and 2.75" from the left using foam dots
To the right of "Roaming " add "Bush walk 3.75" from the top
Lap "Prospecting" Reverse over Bush walk"but  pa\lace at 4" from the top
Add Photo Mat using foam dots
Tuck the fussy cut leaves at top left hand corner
Tuck two of the fussy cut Waratah's  at bottom right as per photo
Follow placement of wooden flourishes and title from photo
