Morning all

My post today is  for my Guest Designer spot  for " Kraft +", In January i was asked if i like to be a Guest Designer for their March Challenge, as they all loved my  challenge entry for December . Cute as a Button.

The page was of my sister in law and my husband as a baby , taken nearly 66 years ago, i just thought that it was the prefect photo for the challenge, as she loved to sew and was all things crafty
Now looking back on the past few months it would have been about this time, when my sister in law started to give up her fight with life. Judy died 13 days after my submission of this piece for the December challenge, she was 82. I am sure she would have approved as Judy was a very arty crafty person



MY INTERPRETATION OF THE CHALLENGE:

Nuvo Embellishment Mouse :- Pure Platinum
Uniquely Creative "Rose Dye" and banner Dye
Kaisercraft Silver Glitter card stock. Wooden Flourishs , Black Ink  
Unknown brand of  bronze and silver trinkets
Creative Red and Clear Gems
Kaisercraft Pink and Red Blooms
Cluster of Flowers from Kaisercraft  " Telegraph Road":-  "Mail"
Gold foil word
Scraps of red card stock

Scraps of gold/ burgundy netting from my stash


CUTTING: / STENCIL AND PAINT

Cut 4 x 1" x 11"  strips of  "Novel  Reverse"
Cut V at each end 
 Fussy Cut around the flower cluster of "Mail"
Dye cut banner from scraps of red card stock
Dye cut rose using silver glitter card stock

Using the Nuvo Embellishment Mouse :- Pure Platinum and the  "Criss Cross" Template cover the inside 11" of square of Kraft card stock
Paint the  Decorative Frame using the Metallic silver ink, once dry brush with black  stamp pad ink
Add the Red Gems


ASSEMBLY:

Add the strips of "Novel  Reverse" 1" from top  and 0.50" from the left and then around the page to form a frame
Add  Photo to frame
Add frame to page 2.5" from top and 3" from left hand side
Add red gem to centre of bronze corner piece. Place 0.50" from the top and 4.50" from the left
Add the red dye cut banner using red/gold brad 4.25" from the left and 0.50" from the bottom
Add the gold foil word
Add flower cluster, using burgundy netting , dye cut rose, fussy cut roses from  "Mail"Kaisercraft blooms, Wooden flourishes and trinkets see photo for further detail
