Life"s a Book we fill the Pages (Maureen W) AUST

Afternoon everyone,

On this warm but overcast day, it looks like rain and they said a cool change is on the way, but its a glorious 25 degrees.
I have been a bit slack with my posts this week, been  completing layout but forget about the all important blog posts. I have been out and about today to the chiropractor and groceries, so sitting blogging should not be too bad after having my bad worked on.

Earlier in the week i completed this challenge layout for "Lets get Sketchy" a Sketch plus mood board.
I did not go for the traditional pinks, yellow and greens , but more the mahogany, black and reds.

PRODUCTS USED:


Kaisercraft "Story Book" Collection :- Books, Story Book Pages, Book Plates,  Book Plates Reverse. Read Reverse and Typewriter Reverse Sticker Sheet
Gold Brad and Red Ric Rak from my stash

CUTTING:

Cut  2" triangles from  "Book Plates" reverse
Cut  One Sentiment square From "Book Plates"
Cut "Books" 9" x 5.75"
Cut "Books 2 x 5.75 x 6"
Cut Photo Mat "Story Book" 4" x "
Cut Set of Books from "Read" Reverse 6" in length
Dye cut tag from scraps I used  a scrap of Borrowed"


ASSEMBLY:

Add 'Books" 9" x 5.75" to "Typewriter" reverse 3.5" from the top and 15" from the left
Add "Books" 2.75" from the left and 3.5" down
Add Books" 3" from the left hand side and 3.5" down
Add Photo to photo mat  add to page 3.75" down and e3.50" down and 3.50" from the Left hand side
Add rectangle sentiment cut from "Book Plates"
Add the cut set of books from "Read " Reverse 
Add to page under  Bottom of "Books" and tucking under photo mat as per photo
Add the embellishments and tags as per photo
