Morning all

Its a glorious Spring morning,  our days have started to warm up which is perfect. If we could have these days with a little bit of rain for the garden  I would be a very Happy person.

Today i am sharing a page which i am entering into The Studio Challengs blog.

Its of our Great Grandchildren, these two are cousins, they are a month apart and spend a lot of time together .

This challenge is a SKETCH , love sketches  hope you like my interpretation.

Kaisercraft Peppermint Card Stock and Tangerine Alpha's

Kaisercraft "Peek a Boo" Collection :- Kid 

3 x 4"x 4" photos 

CUTTING:

Cut "Mia"3 x  4.75 x 4.75 

Cut  "Jack" 3 x 4.50" x 4.50"

Cut " Kid" 3 x 5" x 5"

Cut " Kid" Reverse " 5" x 5.75"

Fussy cut Elephants from  "Ollie"

ASSEMBLY:

Use the Peppermint "card stock as your base

Assembly the 3 photo mats using "Kid" as base then "Jack" and then "Mia"

Putting each at a left  hand angle, then adding photo" at right angles

Addto page see placement 

Add "Kid" reverse 6" from the left and 0.50" from the top.

Add stickers, fussy  cut pieces and title to page as per photo

Its such a glorious Monday Morning,  you would think Spring had arrived, no that's tommorow. The fragance wafting through the front door is lovely.

My last challenge layout for the month is for "The Studio Challenge" blog, they have two challenges per month.

The criteria was to scrap that Special person in your life.

I have scrap our daughter , with her daughter (our Granddaughter)

Its not a particular good photo but i love it

 CUTTING:

Fussy cut Photo Mats from " Strong" in green stripes and hexagon paper in red

Fussy Cut flowers from "Fussy Cut Florals"

Fussy Cut  Floral Bouquets from "Totally Devoted" 

Fussy Cut Black edging and black and white flowers from "Protective" Reverse

Cut the Hearts and sayings from the Cut A Part Sheet

Coloured the black and white florals using Marvy No5 Yellow  and Tsukineko lemon Yellow pen  

ASSEMBLY:

Add red hexagon paper to green stripe paper  .50" from the left and 0.50" from the top

Add mat to page 2.75" from the left hand side and 3.75" from the top, using foam tape in middle only

Add Black row of edging to bottom of photo

Add photo to page 3.50 " from the left and 4.50" from the top 

Add fussy cuts to top and bottom of page

Add clusters  cheese cloth, Rhinestones and doilies  as per photo 

Add title 2.75" from the top

On Your Special Day

Morning all,

It's Sunday, yesterday i completed two layouts one was to enter into the " The Studio  Challenges" blog .  The Studio Challenge was to start your layout using half a sheet of patterned paper (6" x12") The other challenge i participate was to use scraps. this will be on another post.

In keeping with my New Years resolution to use an older paper pack at least once a fortnight.  I chose " Kaisercraft Secret Admirer" . I was lucky that i did have half a page  to use and now i have none of the collection.

This is the first time i have entered this challenge for a number of months or since my fall in May last year.

Both the layouts came together reasonable quickly, once i decide  what photos i was going to use

A Mothers Art butterflies
Words from Kaisercraft "Scrap Studio"
6" x 4" photo
Two Scoops Card Stock "Water Melon Sherbet"
scraps of green paper


CUTTING:

Cut "Mystical" 6" x 12"
Fussy cut frame from  "Sweet Heart"
Fussy cut flowers  around the frame of   "Sweet Heart"  so photo can be tucked underneath.
Cut two small 1" triangles from the green scraps


ASSEMBLY:

Add "Mystical" 6" x 12" to bottom of "Water Melon Sherbet" card stock
Add photo frame 
add to  page 1" from the top and 3" from the left hand side
Add the large flower stickers from the sticker Sheet to cover the flowers on the "Mystical" paper
Add the embellishments  words and butterflies as per photo
