Design Team Lasting Memories LM:752

 Morning all

I cannot believe we are nearly at the end of the month and the end of Autumn . Although the weather is telling me Winter is just around the corner

The East Coast of Australia has been hit my heavy rain all last week with many roads and highways  cut , a wind warning is now in place for gale force winds. A cold front is coming through from the Antarctic  bring wind gust and much cooler temperature. Its just in time for the snow season which opens in two weeks.

This is the last week for the Tic Tick Toe  game over at Lasting Memories

Lasting Memories

Why not join in the fun and get those pages scrapped

Below is my  inspiration for the month. I choose the top row : 2 or more papers, ribbon or twine, tags

Design Team Post for Cookin up Creations "Survivor Month "Wild

 Afternoon all,

I didn't get a chance to post this one for the Cookin  Up Creations Survivor month as . The computer and Word didn't want to play nice and only had half an hour To get the post done for Friday's challenge as we brought a cupboard and the guy wanted us to come up in the afternoon. With it beginning a long week end knew the road would be busy so need to leave earlier than we normally would have.

The challenge was to create a page with the criteria of : As they have tribes use a photo with three of more people in it and as they can "Be Wild and Free " use either one of these words in your title.

Survivor month is drawing to a close but why not join us in October for our new Challenges " A Night in the Museum"

Celebrate DT Post LM 590

Morning all

I should have posted this one last night to coincide with your Sunday, Its Monday morning here in Australia.

The sounds of cars are penetrating the usual silence in the street with parents dropping their children at school. Lovely cool morning with clear blue skies , first load of washing in the machine ,a slight breeze so it will dry quickly.

This month at Lasting Memories we are stash Busting , the theme this week is use either your punches or dye cuts, if you don't have either of these use some Ephemera . I used my Daisy Border punch , it was one of my first Border punches I purchased when i started scrapbooking. I used it quite often at least 4 times a month , th other is a Botanical dye, not so often.

This week with a swap group I belong to we where asked to swap our 10 favourite dye cuts, so thought as I work through the week I would cut an extra one for the swap. I was totally surprised as to how many I use not just on my card making but also on my scrapbooking.

Photo Shoot DT LM NO: 535

 Hello all,

It's Wednesday afternoon and thought I write this up and get it out of the way, instead of waiting till Sunday night (or Sunday morning in USA).Have been very slack sending my photo off as I usually do the  week before. but totalling forget to do my blog post.

Its been a nice cool day, Anyone would think it was Spring, It was nice and comfortable overnight, temp around 17 degrees Celsius so no fan or air conditioner running. Today has been cloudy so temperatures have been lower than usual.

With Lasting Memories challenges for the month its all about Techniques.

This week it's about using your own hand writing on your page. I usually write something in my own hand, be it only the date and who the people are. I dislike my own handwriting as I get older it is becoming more messier .

http://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.com/

I hope you like it and start writing what the pictures are all about for future generations

Its a new month over at a "Lasting Memories" . This month its all about Techniques .
