Week 1: Card Sketch

 Morning all

It's Sunday morning and a  very cloudy day with high Humidity, I hope any of my readers who live in New South Wales are safe from flooding.

On the news it looks devastating, with so much more to come over next week, we are also expecting heavy rain in the course of next week as well

I decide to make them into a male Birthday cards so made two with the same design  for my sister in law to give to her twin  grandsons .

These two cards I have used scraps from my scrap box to create them 

I hope you like my interpretation.

Another lovely day its still cool around 18 degrees Celsius expected tops of 30degrees Celsius . Thought I   get this one finished early, started it yesterday morning but had a sleep instead in the afternoon.

Today's page  I am entering into Sketch& Scrap, they have both Card and layout challenges

Week 1 is a scrapbook page and I thought I used the "Wild" paper that came in the  Uniquely Creative Advent Calendar before Christmas, have made several cards, but this is the first layout. Hope you like it

Uniquely Creative "Wild" Collection;- Stomp Reverse, Dino, Stomp,  Roar, Hero, Dino Reverse , Creative Cuts  Laser cut sheet and Cut Apart Sheet

Anko Green Card Stock

2 x Photos 3.25" x 5"

CUTTING:

Cut "Dino" 8" x 2.50" and 8" x 2.75"

Cut "Stomp" 9" x 7.50"

Cut "Hero" 2" x 10.75"

Cut "Dino" Revere 1" x 9.25"

Cut mats for photos 2 x 3.25" x 5.25" from Green cardstock

Fussy cuts Foot prints, Rocks, Eye, Dinosaur and Snail Flower from "Roar"

Cut the title rom the Cut apart sheet

ASSEMBLY:

Use "Stomp" Reverse as base

Add "Dino" at the top and bottom of base 2" from left hand side and hard against top and bottom of "Stomp" Reverse (You can use full sheet 8"x 12") I did not have a full piece

Add Stomp 2.75" from the top and 1.25" from left hand side

Add "Hero" 0.75" from left hand side and 7" from the top

Add Dino" Reverse 1.50" from left hand side and 7" from the top

Add Photos to mats of green Card stock

Add First Photo Mat 1.75" from the left hand side and 2.75" from the top

Add second Photo mat 6" from Left Hand Side and 3.50" from the top. Use foam tape in the middle only. 

Tuck the fussy cut eye under top right of second photo

Tuck the fussy cut snail shell under bottom right of second photo

Add the remainder of embellishments as per photo
