Busy day, today early doctors appointment , need to have my Prolix injection, plus my booster for pneumonia,  plus get my pain patch

Doctor was running really late waited an hour, then to the chemist, they where so busy waited nearly an hour there as well. Whilst I was waiting in the chemist down came the rain. Which continue most of the afternoon.

It was just on lunch when I got home , but all as I wanted was coffee.

That drunk thought I get this written up and posted which  I finished yesterday.

Monday's challenge over at Cookinup Creations is a sketch plus the Recipe Challenge.   The theme this month is  " Just like Grandma use to make" . Today we are cooking " Milk Gravy Frosting

http://www.cookinupcreations.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=169&t=7121

Why not come  and join in the fun.

The recipe is below

 THE RECIPE:

Milk Gravy Frosting

1 cup milk

6 dessert spoons flour dash of salt

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup shortening

1 cup white sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

Blend milk and flour in saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick. Cool ( about 1/2 an hour)

Cream together better, shortening, and sugar. Add in flour/milk mixture. Beat until fluffy and sugar is dissolved. Stir in the vanilla. Frost cooled cake.

THE CHALLENGE:

There is 1 cup of milk so use 1 photo 4" square photo

Since there are six spoons of flour use 6 different patterned papers any way you want

There is only a dash of salt so sprinkle some small embellishments on your page. I used stars. Small dye cut butterflies, birds, and flowers

Since butter is smooth use something shiny on your page. I used some sequins Rhinestones

Shortening is also smooth, but I remember the Crisco always coming in the giant circle container. So use a circle or may circles or parts of circles on your page 2 small circles under flowet

For the 1 cup of sugar be sure to matt your 1 photo  green check paper

Lastly there is some vanilla to give it a pop of flavouring so give your page a pop of thread, string, or twine. Jade thread add to flowers plus a bow at bottom of banners
