YOU MAKE MY HEART HAPPY

 Good Morning all

Its actually blue skies here this morning after a week of rain. Extremely muggy  though

Today i want To share my DT pest for Cookin up Creations 

. The theme is  "Just like Grandma use to make ". The recipe  is from my Mother in law, she was given it my one of her husbands fellow workers. The family love when I make them  They yummy with soup in the winter.

Today we making 

CURRIED SCONES

Ingredients
2 cups SR flour
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons grated matured cheese
1 small onion chopped finely
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tablespoon fresh parsley cut up finely
30g margarine or butter

Method

Sift the SR flour and curry powder into a large bowl.

 Add grated cheese and parsley and mix. I use scissors to cut the parsley finely.

Add milk and melted margarine or butter and mix lightly. Do not mix more than necessary.

Turn onto a floured board and pat out to a thickness of 1.5cm.

 Place on a greased tray with the scones touching to assist rising

Bake at 220C for 10 to 12 minutes until risen and light brown.

Remove from oven and allow to cool

Your Butter is shiny use something Shiny, Glitter, Gemstones ,or Pearls 

Your Onion use One  photo

Your Curry and Parsley  use yellow and green 

Your Cookie Cutter  can have straight or bevelled edges use something round or with a scalloped edge 

Your finished scones are light brown in colour , use something that is Light Brown or Biscuit Coloured

A Mothers Art Butterflies

CUTTING:

Cut a 9" Circle from " Biscuit " Card Stock 

Cut a 8.50 " Circle from "Beautiful Day "

Cut a photo Mat from " Bright Reverse "

Cut a 6" x 1.25 " strip from "Canary"

Punch one side of the strip of "Canary " 


ASSEMBLY:

Use "White "Cardstock as Base

Add the "Biscuit" Circle to 1.50 " from left hand side and 1.75 " from the top 

Centre the " Beautiful Day " in the middle of the " Biscuit" circle 

Add Border stripnto right hand side of photo 

Add photo to mat 0.50 " in on the left hand side and 0.25 from the top of matt

Add white Doily  5" from the top and 3" from the left hand side 

Add photo mat to page 4.50 " from the top and 5.50" from the left hand side 

Add title to Doily

Add Butterflies Gems and small circle
