My Little Monkeys

Another beautiful Day, I cannot believe it Monday all ready, parts of Australia have a Public Holiday today our states Labour Day is not till October though.

I have a busy week this week thought hope to post once a day this week. the first is for ARTastic Challenge blog which you enter on face book.

The challenge is Animal Theme and a sketch (which is below) I rotated  the second page of the sketch has have 2 landscape photos. I was hoping to have all photos in the layout of Tariq but could not find any I had to make smaller for the First Page

A friend had left me her Heartfelt Creations Dyes to have a look and use what i wanted

I love the monkey dye it was just perfect for this animal theme layout.

I hope you like my interpretation of the sketch. I went with monkey theme as I had made a card over the weekend and they wanted monkeys and had plenty leftover

2 x  6" x 4" photos and 2 x  3.25" x 4" photos

CUTTING:

Fussy cut 4 Monkeys from "Safari paper pack

Fussy cut baby monkey from Mother

Cut Photo mats from animal square face 6.50" x 4.50" x 2

Cut  2 x mats from the Leaf Paper 3.50 x 4.25"

Cut 2 x 6" x 12" from the "Tangerine" card stock

Stamp and Dye cut  5 monkey face, 2 x mother and child , 4 monkey swinging from branch, 5 x Bananas, and  4 x nuts. from light yellow Anko Card Stock

Cut two fish tails 1 from Striped paper 7" x 2" and 1 from the small Animal Squares  7.50" x 2

Cut fish tails either end of both

ASSEMBLY:

Add " Tangerine" card stock to both bases, leaving 3" on left and right hand side

Add Photo's to mats

SIDE 1: add smaller mats to page at and angle 4.50" from top right  hand corner, over lap 2nd photo and place 4" from the top left hand corner

Add the stripe fish tail 6.75" from the top and  2.50" from the left

Add second Fish tail 7.50" from the top and 2.50" from the left

Add title using Green Alphas and "Baby Monkey"

Add  Dye cut Monkeys as per photo to make a 9" circle

SIDE 2: Add the two landscape photo's 1.50" from the top and 3" from left hand side.

Add second photo 6.25" from the top and 3" from left hand side

Add the two Swinging Monkeys as per photo add nuts , bananas, and star tag
