 Morning All

Its a lovely cool morning, although I know it will warm up with expected storms again this afternoon

just like yesterday.

I completed this one yesterday had been working on it during the week, love the sketch and the criteria gave me a chance to get another one completed.

Its been entered into the challenge over at Cookin up Creations forum, the criteria is below. Getting a picture of me on or near water is nearly impossible as I get sea sick watching the waves or the rocking of the boats, ships. Sea sick tablets don't work either. From a distance I loved to look out over the ocean as it has such a calming effect, but not up close

Monday 14 th Sketch 'Under the Sea": Use the sketch plus a photo of your self or a loved one.

I have used an old photo I found that I had not Scrapbooked before. Its of our Two Grandsons who are now 27 and 22. They are Cousins. We went for a Ride on The Brisbane River City Cat to see the sights, the photo was taken with a backdrop of the Story Bridge.. Alex the younger one hated the City Cat and just wanted to get off , Not sure what he is like now as he lives in the Country .

Every photo tells a story and doing these challenges for Cookin Up Creations certainly allows me to do this

CUTTING:

Cut Salvage from "Garden Party" 7" x 0.50"

Use Border Punch  along the orange Edge of "Garden Party"

Dye cut  2 Banners  1.75" x 3" from  "Garden Party" and "Garden Party" Reverse

Cut  "Beautiful Day" and "Beautiful Day" Reverse 6" x 9"

Colour Laser Cut Flowers with Yellow Ink

 

ASSEMBLY:

Use " Home Holiday" Reverse as base

Add a lace flower 1.25" from the top and 5.50" from the left

Add "Beautiful Day" 3" from the top and 2" from the left hand side

Add  "Beautiful Day"  Reverse 3" from the top and 0.75" from the left hand side

Add the banners overlapping "Garden Party 4" from the bottom and 5.50" from the left

Second banner 6.50" from left Hand side and 0.50" from the bottom

Add Photo 5.50" from the top and 3" from the left hand side

Add the border punched strip to top of  "Beautiful Day"  and 4" to the left of page

Add embellishments and title as per photo
