Cousins Sketch 240

  Good Morning

The sun was shinning when I got up this morning, but it has since rained and the sky has turned black with the winds basically died down completely.

The weather forecast have said we get rain from ex tropical cyclone Seth over the next couple of days.

I have had a busy morning sat for an hour at the doctors and took my scripts to be filled and waited nearly an hour again. The chemist has two pharmacists but one was giving COVID19 injections, the poor girls where run off their feet.

I have come home needed coffee, but just realised its nearly lunchtime and have achieved nothing this morning.

I thought I quickly  write this up, as I started it yesterday but had to put the dinner on so didn't finnish it.

The challenge page is for Sketch n Scrap. I had this collection still sitting on the table from another layout. The bag said it was from 2007, so thought I had better use  some more of it.

Hope you like what I have completed

1st December Box Maureen W (AUST) Sketch 236

This morning woke to overcast skies  they said we will get some showers today.

Had some exciting news yesterday our eldest grandson had a reveal cake over video chat for the sex of  another great grandchild . Hope our borders are open so we can freely travel and get to see him and our other great grandchildren.  The two youngest ones we have only seen once but have had plenty of video chats.

Today I share with you a challenge entry into Sketch n Scraps   Sketch 236. Love the design . I am really happy with the papers  I choose for the pictures of our Great Granddaughter opening her December One box.

ROAR, Sketch221 (Maureen W) AUST

 Good Morning

Its a very wet Tuesday, we are experiencing a deluge rain, lots of roads flooded  water not running properly,  things rather damp. This is our 5th consecutive day of heavy rain

Yesterday we had 197mm . The water has no where to go as the soil is sodden. We're suppose to get a reprieve tomorrow. Let's hope so.

I was out most of yesterday, had a few appointments, I started this one on Monday, I just thought the photos would be perfect for the sketch. I am entering it into the challenge for Sketch~n~Scrap.

I have altered it slightly for my papers to work.

I do hope you like it my granddaughter and her boyfriends holiday in February 2021.

Maureen W Case this Sketch 401

 Afternoon all

Its been a terrible muggy day, after the rain for the past 3 days, it was good to see the sun

The weather has devastated our beaches, just as we open out Boarders from COVID 19. We are still getting a few cases each day. They are returned travellers from overseas who are placed in immediate quarantine upon arrival. We have had no  community transmission  here in Queensland  for quiet a few weeks.

Hopefully the  councils can start on repair work soon.

I have finished this card this morning, for Cas(E) this Sketch Number 401

http://casethissketch.blogspot.com

i decided to use some die cuts I had been given in a swap  and some wooden flourishes.  I have tons of them i need to use them but forget about them. I think I should make it as part of my goals for 2021

A busy morning out and about early, hubby had a doctors appointment at 8.30 a.m. . We arrived home at about 10.a.m.. Finished off my daily  chores. I thought today I would tackle some cards. I have used a Kookaburra, we have a family of them that live in the neighbourhood,  Mum, Dad, last years Baby and new Baby who come to be feed every few days. They take the meat or worm's from your hand.

I have used some bits from Uniquely Creative Gums and Roses Collection and some freebie papers I received in a Mystery Box from Uniquely Creative last year.

Maureen W(AUST) Card sketch 366

Afternoon all

A cool start to the morning 9 degrees, it's been a lovely day with clear blue skies with just that chill factor from the wind. A perfect day to start the easing of our level 3 restrictions  which means you can go to the beach, jet ski, go fishing, travel up to 50kms, but you must follow the guidelines for  Social Distancing. You can be with your family or met up with one friend only.
Time will tell if we can relax further as no new cases for a few days this week here in Queensland.

This will be my last card challenge for Atlantic Hearts for a few weeks due to surgery mid next week. ( Sketch 366)

I hope this finds you all well, and keeping up with our quarantine rules and safe distancing rules
Another beautiful morning not as cool this morning, Expecting tops of 30 today, so quite warm.

I have been working thru some layouts for a cyber crop i participated in last weekend and I decided to do layouts with lots of fussy cutting, so have not been on the blog for a few days.

Now the Government has decided that all elective surgery (they were only allowed to do category 1 ) can go ahead , (Just waiting on when)  you might find me quite as some stage next month.

Today's card is for CAS(E) this Sketch No 368, I did rotate the sketch.Love doing these, as all my sketch cards are going to be donated to CARDS FOR THE TROOPS, here in Australia, such a worthwhile cause.
I would have put some bling on the flowers but it is not permitted, no bling or glitter.
